I'm making a Girl Genius thread so I can gripe about two years of comics spent on freeing the town from the time stop and fighting the monster it summoned only to have another baddie show up. Giant guy is Vapnoople who got trapped in a realm of endless monsters 7 years ago.
>>153872122I respect how long it’s been going but the idea of actually trying to read it from beginning to now always puts me off
>>153872122my god is this still going?i haven't touched in what feels like a decade...her making the coffee machine and giving that one dude a connection to the universe is probably the only thing i remember. art seems to have taken a dive too.
>>153872122Let Foglio having man he's earned his comfort comic.Though I could use another Xxxenopile ish
>>153872382>my god is this still goingLike clockwork. They're getting old, so health issues have occasionally caused delays, usually just an upload of lineart that gets colored later, but there was some kind of hiccup a year or so ago that lasted about a week. It's easy to follow once you're caught up, just check in for a few seconds every other day.
>>153872501when i was into web comics i remember girl genius being one of the better ones.
>>153872122Huh, I just saw volumes of this at a store
Who's your Girl Genius waifu? for me it's Zeetha
>>153874873Early GG/Prime Phil and Kaja art is actually better. But Girl Genius reads much better as volumes.Since each is 90-120 pages long, the flow is relatively OK.Though the more perspectives jump about, the longer an arc drags.
>>1538723822005-2007 I think for that.
Man, it's been forever since I last read GG, I think it was somewhere in the castle. How the story nowadays?
>>153874873Zola because evil bimbo's are a rare breed.
God I love the Foglio's art.
>>153875528It's still good even if the cast gets constantly sidetracked by side adventures. Whole town got locked in a time freeze bubble after the castle got fixed because Wulfenbach was convinced Agatha was the Other and used a break glass in case weapon to take her out but Agatha escaped at the last moment then travelled Europe finding a way to undo it then actually doing so set off a bunch of big battles.
wait this is done by the mtg foglio guy?

I really liked the old radio plays they recorded all those years ago. It really gets the tone across. And who doesn't like hearing the crowd say OTHAR TRYGGVASSEN, GENTLEMAN ADVENTURER!
>>153872122Welcome back Doormaker.
>>153872122I guess we're gonna kiss Wulfenbach goodbye after all. How else are they gonna patch this up without his sacrifice?
My experience with GG has been:>read regularly, starting since Agatha was on the Baron's airship >stopped reading when all the drama in Castle Heterodyne with Zola went down>caught up when Mechanicsburg was frozen in time>stopped reading for years>tried to catch up again at some point but just could not get through all the fucking British stuff
>>153876495>seething Lucretia insideWould. We can cuddle and laugh at her, she can drop combat drugs and fuckmaul me, I'm down.
>>153872122I prefer author's other work, XXXenophile.
>>153872122>>153874873This art is horrid.
>>153872122It's my vibe, but I just don't have the time to sit down and read thru it all. I've read up to volume 9 and apparently it's on volume 27, not to mention there's another side story after v9 so I haven't been in a hurry to start again. Needless to say, I still have a bunch to go thru.
