>Since it's just the four of us tonight, we're having dinner at The Rusty Barnacle.

In the Ullman shorts and four episodes of Season 1?

I've been watching classic Simpsons and I still have to see this annoying Lisa everyone speaks about. Even the vegan episode is about her learning not to impose her ideals on others and that she's not as pure as she thinks (see her recoiling when she realizes she should go full vegan). When would you say she gets flanderized?

Lisa the Simpson is where it truly sets in, where everyone retcons in a terrible family status quo just because lisa couldn’t solve a puzzle.

it's fairly normal for a precocious kid like lisa to have a crisis of faith about meat eating and be a vegetarian for awhile.

Wasn't it that Paul McCartney faggot responsible for this shit because he wouldn't guest star otherwise? And the staff, being the celeb dickriders that they are, capitulated?

That doesn't make any sense, the entire episode is about vegetarianism. What would they have asked him to guest on otherwise?
>>

they asked him to appear in the vegetarian episode and he agreed on the condition that they stuck to it and didn't memory hole it in episodic tv fashion. would he have been mad if two seasons later she had an episode where she decided to eat meat again I don't know.

I was going to point this out, not knowing the McCartney story, that lisa becoming a vegetarian became a cemented character development that no one else in the family gets.
Remember how bart speaks French? Nope.
But not only does losa stay a vegetarian but it has to keep being brought up forever just to reassure us that her being a vegetarian is still something theyre doing.
