It was screwed into a socket in 2020 when it first released it's original animated indie cartoon, of course they didn't preform as big as their current wave of animations, especially Digital Circus and Murder Drones but it was a start. As Murder Drones came out, the lightbulb shined brighter, Digital Circus, even brighter and hotter, and it seems like it. As time goes on lightbulbs age and it's filament coils tend to ware down, GLITCH isn't exactly in that phase per say but their light isn't shining as bright as it did in 2023 & 2024. When the lightbulb fizzes out, it needs to be replaced with a brand new bulb and the cycle continues. This is kinda the same thing with Sony Animation. Their early films didn't exactly hit it too big when they first released (although Open Season became a cult classic and meme material, memes aside I love it). But when Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs released in 2009, that's what put them on the radar, their lightbulb shined at that point, followed by Hotel Transylvania, say what you want about it but it was a major success. Then after a while their lightbulb began to fizzle, Sony Animation had this rough period in the early-mid 2010s. Smurf shit no one cared about, mediocre sequels and then Emoji Movie happened. Their bulb pretty much went out at that point. Then comes 2018, Spiderverse released! Their bulb was replaced and it shined bright like a diamond. GLITCH could go through this same experience Sony Animation went through. Or not, fuck what I'm say me retarded duuurhururuhhdudhudffffTL;DR - they'll do fine but they will have a rough period one day. Could be in five years, or less, maybe even this year, or tomorrow. Who knows? They'll dig themselves out to save their company.
