If you follow the "plot", then you're just going to be retreading the same ground as every other Mega Man comic and manga that has ever been released. Personalities may differ a bit, but it's all the same premise with all the same characters and all the same events. But if you go off the rails and do something different, then it is very much NOT Mega Man and all the fans get upset. So the idea of a Mega Man comic sounds really great, until you realize that it'll just never be good.
