One was the fact that they're brainscans who have to find meaning in spite of that (some aspect of this is explored in every single episode) and... Jax. Just "what is Jax's deal." I get that Jax is supposed to be a tragic figure, but when he goes and bullies a cute frog girl to death because she tried to emotionally connect with him, I feel like it moves him out of tragic figure territory squarely into villain. That might be my biggest beef with the ending. IDK, I'm two glasses into a rum-lemonade.
