The open with a flashback, followed by a very awkward exposition dump conversation to imply that she's been doing this Farcade agent stuff a lot and rescuing as many characters as possible, like the dinosaur. It just makes it way more confusing that she's still acting like this is her first time seeing another game world risking erasure and having spastic freak outs about it.
