In Transformers Beast Wars, the character Terrorsaur and his repaints are quite literally probably the most modelled after a G1 in design philosophy, looking about as similar to the Seekers as you could get with the organic aesthetic Yet the Seekers are eternally linked to not the Terrorsaur design, but the Waspinator design, with both Starscream possessing Waspinator in the show and Skywarp becoming a Waspinator repaint in toy and non canon media form. Why???
>>153900281Having Waspinator be the one Starscream possessed in Beast Wars made sense because there would be a large contrast between their characters, and it also allowed direct interaction between Starscream and Terrorsaur, who up to that point had been the closest thing to a Starscream stand-in in Beast Wars. So I assume that's the reason for that happening. But because of this, a strong connection between Waspinator and seekers had been established. It also probably didn't help Terrorsaur's case that he was killed off at the end of season one, so he ended up being much less prominent overall than Waspinator.
>>153900999I think its funny they intended to leave the door open fir scorponok and terrorsaur to return but they didnt lmfao

>>153901121At least Terrorsaur got a real transmetal
>>153900281>and Skywarp becoming a Waspinator repaint in toy and non canon media form.First of all, there's nothing that says Skywasp is actually Skywarp. It wouldn't be the first time that a BW character is similar to their namesake(ish) while being a different character.Second of all, what do you mean "non-canon media"? I think you might be confused about Transformers canon.
