Will they die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain?
>>
>>153926672
Honestly, they'll be a hero once they know how to not listen to the fans.
>>
>>153926672
>live long enough to become the villain
After hiring a castration cultist, they're already there.
>>
>>153926672
Spergs are still really fucking butthurt over TADC, huh?
>>
>>153926726

Shut up Goose. Go to bed.
>>
>>153926852

Doesn’t the Australian government already own them or something?
>>
>>153926852

Wait, why Lackadaisy? I thought it was a combo of good art and furbait. Shouldn’t that sell?

How so? Are you talking about the ending of Digital Circus?

They just want your money.

I mean, there is the other option, which is what you would hope people in this industry are actually there for, which is to bring enjoyable and interesting ideas out into the world and feel fulfilled for doing it, and obviously make a good living while doing it as well.

Making money and being good are not mutually exclusive if you’re providing the people who give you their money with something valuable in return.

I think the issue Glitch is having recently is that a lot of people feel like they gave them (and Goose) a lot of money over the last three years for Digital Circus, and after all of that, the ending that the audience received, and the attitude that the audience received (from Goose especially), was one of contempt.

Whether it’s deserved or not, it has burned a lot of goodwill.

>This is why I don't support shows until they're finished
>This is why I don't support shows at all
Had it had a good ending, I might've eventually bought something. That's sure as shit not happening now, not even for their other shows.
>>
>>153928304

I think a lot of fans share your sentiment.

Well fans obviously would’ve preferred a thoughtful, creative ending that respects the audience’s intelligence, I think they would’ve accepted a more mundane flat ending, where the characters all together work through their problems and decide to make the most of what they have. And as mundane and flat as that might’ve been, I’m pretty sure the fans would’ve preferred that 10,000% to the self-indulgent condescending shit show they got.

And then just kind of watching Goose dig its little heels in and refuse to even contemplate making a season two in order to apologize to the fans they betrayed, or even just an apology in general— or even just acknowledgment that maybe they made a mistake in general— probably soured even more people than the initial shock of the crap ending

This show had the potential to be fucking GOAT. I love this Battle Angel Alita shit so much. But every character involved is so fucking insufferable. Their relationship with the robot is completely fucking wasted. There's nobody to root for. I don't understand why they do this. It's like they make their hardest effort to create characters you would NEVER want to meet IRL. Characters with a shit sense of humor, a shit personality, pseudo-autistic, cunty and annoying, shit manners, shit language, lacking basic humanity and only masquerading as LE POOR PEOPLE STRUGGLE, holy fucking shit I fucking hate having a job too but I don't necessarily love every fucking cunt who's struggling like me. Why do they do this? It is possible to make a pudgy nerdy girl that is appealing as a character. It doesn't have anything to do with not making everyone hot, like these fucking demented show runners believe, Jesus Christ I fucking hate the way these cunts believe men process human beings, for fuck's sake. It's possible to make a brown chick with a personality other than she's brown. Is there anything about these brown-skinned characters going on for them except le diversity? Can you even describe these characters' personalities without describing their appearance, race and how fucking fat they are? Without the fact she's butt ugly as fuck and has a crooked nose, how would you describe whatsherface? Is there any reason to give a fuck that the robot is helping these two? It's like they try their hardest to make these characters as fucking insufferable as possible and it's impossible not to think it's because these show runners exclusively think about WYPIPO BAD BLACKS GOOD UGGO WOMEN GOOD STRAIGHT MEN BAD. I don't even fucking care about your politics but can you at least make these dykes and blacks FEEL like fucking human beings? Jesus fucking Christ it's not hard at all to make a character that is not straight up fucking unpleasant, why do they do this? I really wanted to watch this
>>

This is why you don't make a show about much you hate your employer for cutting short your overrated dyke cartoon

They're not RoosterTeeth yet.

>game grump cartoon
We already have the answer.

Apparently, Glitch stopped advertising Circus Shit after the leaks proved its finale to be a disaster. Good, I hope they realize that hiring a "gender" ideologue was only barely worth the brief monetary success, and eventually purge everything Circus Shit-related from their channel and store. Cooper Goodwin clearly hates his most successful attempt at normalizing the cult, largely from having to deal with other members of the cult and its capitulators (his self-awareness lacking just enough to not see it in those terms), so I doubt it would be any skin off his nose.

>This show had the potential to be fucking GOAT
Wouldn't put it past the creator; he's probably friends with many open zoophiles who use "anthro" to normalize their sexual illness. He and them have a bit in common, on that front...
