>>153934407>mordo actually being an artistim glad they remembered
>>153938153too bad it'll probably be a lesser version of bad portrait where they fight rigby's bad reference photos of benson and bob ross' ghost (or astral projection or whatever) talks to them

>>153938416thanks, it sounds like disney already took them off their service so it's nice someone snagged it first. it could be ages before we reach these episodes normally. i think "season 1A" is the only thing planned to release next, which might just be the same as what's aired or a little more, on Max in june
>>153938416Aw, yeah-ya! Thanks, anon!
>>153936529anon, asking the important questions
>>153934407Mordecai's childhood friend is very cute
>>153938416thanks. this was a good gag
>>153938416Thanks.>>153938925It's always nice when they make one-off characters that are normal people but like the main cast aren't just humans.
>>153938416These eps were funny, the animation didn't feel as jarring, and I want to bed Judge Deena and the worm artist.
>>153938416Why is Benson such a dumbass?
>>153939664They are getting funnier. Maybe the writers just needed to get back into the groove of the show.
>>153940006Few can resist the siren's song of the mall kiosk.
>>153938925This felt like a very lazy and cheap attempt to be "regular show", but then i remembered roxie existed in s8 (literally just a rock and a bow)but still wtf are these credits. are the women struggling so much coming back to RS that JG and sean needed to jump in and help on an 11 minute episode? the last time i saw too many writers credited for an 11 minute episode it was bad news, with 7 people listed on a close enough episode because it went from 22 minutes to 11 at the last second after production
>>153938925>random girl from the past shows up, has a hot black rich professional boyfriend>emasculates the main character who realizes his artistic merits are minimal and he can't competeThis feels like a modern day Brian episode from Family Guy.
>>153934407I watched the “Lost Tape” episodes, and it's like watching Season 8 of AT. Which is kind of bad, but this show manages to be even worse than *Fiona and Cake*. While one relies on nostalgia but tries something new (unofficial Bee and Puppycat S3), Regular Show doesn’t even feel like Close Enough (no pun intended); it’s more like a season that has all the things that make Regular Show, well, Regular Show, despite the changes over the years. And yes, I like the Mordo + Cloudy + Margaret drama. It's not quite as bad as space
>>153941163My problem with it is that it feels just off enough to come across as people trying to make what they think Regular Show was. The most annoying thing about that feeling is that largely speaking most of the staff is from the original run. I really don't get why a lot of episodes feel more childish in how the characters do things or the writing structure, since not every episode that feels that way is from new writers. There were some weak episodes in Season 6-8 (especially 8, I thought the ear episode in particular was stupid and never rewatched it) but it rarely gave me this same feeling. The tweened animation making it feel like a preschool cartoon doesn't help, but it's absolutely an issue in the writing department too. I haven't seen this two episodes yet but Blade Games, Nap Spot, and the Margaret side of Corpse Flower were the worst offenders. Beginson was a little better but still felt a bit generic in the antagonist being human but then randomly a toxic monster because... he's mean?I'm hoping I can enjoy these 2 episodes a bit better since they come later in the season so there should be time to get things more refined again.
The character designs have gotten kinda gross in a modern way.Which is funny to say because the alternate meaning of gross, I wouldn't mind seeing those flapjack-esque background characters like the old days again. Cartoon ugly, not realistic ugly.
The Pops episode was great, but the rest has been mid. Guess I just have to wait for that 'arc' to come back.
>>153943188That's how I feel about it too. I don't even want to get my hopes up on the Pops arc but it's the only thing the revival has going for it. More actually entertaining Regular Show one-offs, that actually feel like Regular Show, would've been fun for me even if I think it deserves to rest and JG should be able to move on from it like he planned to, but these episodic stories just don't feel right.Pops' was the only one that actually felt like Regular Show from start to end for me.
>>153934407Will do
Anyone else notice the sleazy mall guy's line is spliced together from two recordings? I usually don't notice stuff like this but it's blatant here. Not the worst thing but it's sloppy like the rest of the show.
>>153945286Will do sooner or later.
>>153938925What the fuck?
>>153938416Piracy always wins
>>153943188What arc? He's fucking dead, there's nothing else he can do other than watch tapes until the sun explodes
>>153941163>this show manages to be even worse than *Fiona and Cake*. While one relies on nostalgia but tries something new (unofficial Bee and Puppycat S3),Sex in the city: cartoon version isn't something new, the whole show is just a badly coffeeshop fanfiction >And yes, I like the Mordo + Cloudy + Margaret drama.Lmao opinion discarded
