Anyone liked Robotboy?
>>153936162People only give a shit about the mom.
I liked that one robot lady with the metal TnA
>>153936162I liked Robotboy the characterHe is adorable and his super form has been glued to my head for years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMI2AgEwyVs
>>153936162loved this show as a kid
I watched it but never particularly liked it. The super mode was pretty cool, I guess that's what kept me tuning in.
>>153936162there was a period of time in my life where I had an insane Robotboy fixation and I only knew how to watch it on YouTube. It's kinda eh now
>>153936162I always wanted to sex the robot
>>153936162Remind me that the next show is “Gawayn" and "Matt's Monsters.”
>>153936342Not true. I care about the little black girl.
>>153936162I liked it a lot as a kid but haven't seen it since it was on telly, should rewatch it if I can find it
>>153938869Which one?The show had a bunch of them
It sucks. Debbs is the only good part
This show gave me a jumpstart on my jungle fever
>>153936342I prefer the robot boy
>>153936162I wanted to but even as a kid I was disappointed at the simplicity of the writing.
>>153941191French writing an American family
>>153941046same
>>153939132>>153941046Do not lie to me. The only reason you remember Robotboy is because of the mom. Don't pull this bullshit with me, cause I know you can't name a single episode without google searching them.
>>153941966Not any of those guys but I can at least describe several episodes without naming them even though I disliked the show. I barely ever saw or paid attention to Deb Turnbull>Constantine disguises himself as a lunch guy to get close to Tommy, get turned into a partial mecha golem, and steal Robotboy, gets foiled because he gets heartbroken by the actual lunchlady>Protoboy intro episode, Robotboy straight up goes to Kamikazi's island to find and reactivate him, later finds out the hard way why Protoboy was kept shut down>Kazi Krunch ep where Kamikazi tricks Gus into dragging Robotboy around to get a type of candy he made specifically to jam Robotboy's insides>Tommy's brother episode where aforementioned brother gets psuedo prosthetics from Kamikazi which let him wreak havoc; these are acutally a robot in and of itself which eventually transforms and holds Tommy's brother hostage with his head between its asscheeks.I could go and describe more episodes on but you get the idea, and again I never even saw a lot of Deb Turnbull. I'm >>153941191

>>153941966You would be surprised not everyone is so horny for the mom Anon
>>153936162It was shit. No one watched it. Not even the zoomers "discovered" watch it today, they just pretend to because muh frutiger aero
>>153936162its really bad
>>153944450>So horny forAroused by/for You stupid zoomfuck
>>153945111Lol, retard
>>153936162
>>153944440>/co/ fags>Not horny for somethingYou amuse me
I only remeber the episode with the pink robot
>>153936162It has decent lore and great villain duo. Writing was sadly the weakest part. Would love to see a reboot with some more propper story eps.
>>153936162It was a B tier show, I would watch it if it was one but would change the channel if there was something more interesting somewhere else.
>>153942044>I remember the episode were Robot boy enters a wrestling robot federation and gets the shit beat out of him because he had a crush on a femboy fighter.>There was one were Gus and Lola were aging rapidly and Tommy had to find the cure before they died of old age.>There was one were Gus and Tommy go to an island and the TV superhero they liked turns up to be real and saves them.
>>153945124The mom took hip hop lessons.Resident PAWG MILF
>>153945124A$$
>>153945549She is hot but also kinda of a dork
>>153944450If more people are going to pretend Camp Lazlo was a good show, then why not this for the aesthetic?
Miu-miu > Debs > PE teacher > rest
>>153946849Camp Lazlo is a horrible show for horrible people>>153946775>has a big shelf booty>still can't keep her baggy pants from falling down around her knees
>>153946939I do think Miu Miu is pretty underratedBut sadly she barely talks in the show if she had more lines maybe she would get a few artshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFAd1L8s40c
>>153945210It would be nice
I like when they drew the black girl with no underwear
>>153950495yeah!
Way better than Debbie...
>>153952027Agreed
>>153950495Wait they what
>>153952027I love her style
>>153953349
>>153953608damn where's the editing guy? This is an easy one.
>>153953608I love these slip ups because you know they're freaked out about how to pose but we can't show any hint of panties so it becomes even more lewd like this.I'm reminded of a Billy and Mandy shot where Mandy is posed in a way that makes her look like she's going commando.
>>153941966I remember one where the fat sumo assistant creates his own robot to capture Robotboy but it's so shit that Robotboy feels sorry for it and that empathy becomes the means to trap him.
>>153936162It's a decent show, but it should have been better with the writing. The only reason remember this show is Tommy's mom. I believe this show needs a reboot.
>>153941966I might not be able to name eps mostly cause I've never been a good ep namer. But yeah def not the mom, I honestly didn't learn she was popular until the robot girl threads. I'm rarely a big milf guy mostly because a lot of cartoon milfs get pornified anyway and we barely see them.
>>153936162Overall good show with good jokes, action and hot girls. I think the only thing holding it back was the weird pacing. Like some scenes or shots were longer than they needed to be or sometimes shorter.
>>153954681Another episode where something similar to that happens where Robotboy was curious about crying so the villain makes up a whole sad theater show where Robotboy cries so much he rans out of energy
>>153954874
Like 10 years ago I read a post (possibly on /co/) saying there was an ad for this featuring the song Feel Good Inc and that it may or may not be lost. Well, is it true? I NEED the closure.
Finally got around to inking and coloring this old pic. I've shared my Robotboy sequel series ideas in previous threads, but incase anyone wants to know, Protok is the fusion of Kamikazi and Protoboy.
>>153936162I really liked it as a kid.I didn't discuss cartoons at school or hear any discussion about it, I just thought it was chill (and it was on all the time in my region)I also thought Gus was funny. I didn't know South Park or Cartman, I just thought he was fat and dumb and rude and that was funny to me.Ironically my least favourite part was Robotboy himself. Even as a kid I felt like "oh he's just gonna turn into his mecha form with the same music and oneshot everything AGAIN", my favourite eps were ones where he didn't do that, or the plot was something else.>>153941966>>153942044The episodes where Gus gets an archenemy that's a magician, and he sends Tommy and Gus to another dimension (for ruining his show with fart jokes), or gives Gus teeth that make him say rude things to everyone (and get beat up by everyone), or gets him kidnapped by AliensThat ep when Tommy's bullies challenge him to a fight, he makes a mental relay to have Robotboy control his movements and kick their ass, then at the end finds out it wasn't even on and he just beat them up himselfThat hoe BambiThat ep with the really rich European girl who wanted to buy Robotboy from TommyGus getting Robotboy hooked on energy drinksThat muscle growth ep where Lola Hulks out to save thembottle eps like the three getting stuck in traffic, or stuck in a museum
>>153957933Yeah that was more or less my own experience with it. My peers were all taken by anime by then. Ultimately that might be why the series is such a footnote these days. It came out right in the middle between the PPG/Dexter and Ben 10/BATB eras of CN. Most might have seen it as old hat by the point it released. Regardless I loved it and looked forward to every new episode. The "lore" is simple enough that a follow up show could have some legs, but at this point it's better that one doesnt happen. Revisiting it makes me appreciate all you can get away with in episodic series compared to the leepest dore trend of the last decade.
>>153957884I like the concept, it's like Krang but actually threatening. And a way of making Proto work for Kamikaze willingly
>>153957884Cool>>153957933That ep where Kamikaze puts a mutant Tapeworm in Gus, but he looks after it and it saves themThey used Gus as an excuse to do all their weirder ideas
>>153957884Cool, like a Dr Zola.
>>153959296Gus was gross so its fine.
>>153958910Poor Robotboy...
>>153957884Dude that's dope Fusing the hero's biggest enemies is dope
>>153946775The consensus is that she was a PAWG BBC hunter in her youth.
>>153958101I always go back and forth over whether or not they should act in perfect unison or if the two personalities constantly quibble for dominance. Another idea I had for the series saw Gus become the other major recurring antagonist after Yakitori, now little more than a brain in a jar kept alive by electrical impulses, imbued him with nanomachines. I've draen designs for that more recently, just havent shared them.
>>153959296>>153960424>>153962130Thanks for the kind words
>>153936162I remember seeing this show back when it was around and thought it was cool. The interesting part of the show for me is how it's sorta like the French take on the Neo-UPA style that has been popularized from the late 90s and especially the 2000s, and I think it's unique how different their art direction looks compared to something from the U.S.Also, Tommy's design kinda looks like Mac to me. Not saying they ripped it off, just thought it's a funny coincidence since it came out a year after Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and it did have people who worked with Craig McCracken, like Charlie Bean, who was the main director for the first season of the show, and also Cindy Morrow and Darrick Bachman as writers for a few episodes.
>>153962419Like I noted earlier, Robotboy was the last gasp of the neo-UPA wave of cartoons that were all the rage between the late 90's and early 2000's. It has more in common with the likes of Dexter, PPG, and MLAATR than it does the action or comediies it shared air time with in the late 2000's. That they pulled inspo from so many of the same sources and shared a few talents does alot to explain why so many of the visuals remind us of other works. Debbie's design is basically a cross between Dexter's mom and Helen Parr and Tommy's dad has that same Jay Ward/DPF construction as Mr Incredible too.
>>153962419>>153962581Oh that's interesting to know
