What's a cartoon that you were hyped for that ended up disappointing you?For me it was Donkey Kong Country. Was expecting an action-oriented show, not multiple gay musical numbers per episode.

It's too bad both shows decided to take the creative direction of making sure every single person they hired absolutely sucked at their individual jobs. The only exceptions where they had people who were actually competent were the returning voice actors for Animaniacs. Such profound disappointments!

Normally I would call people like that retards but the guy is generally based so i'm conflicted on what the real quality of the show is. I fucking doubt it's better than the OG but maybe it's actually pretty decent but you're saying it's shit, however someone I typically trust says it's great. I've only seen like an episode or two and it seems okay with some minor cringe but it's hard to figure out what this show is in terms of whether it's good or bad.
