Every man whith a personality type which is unendurable to women knows instinctually how to make movies and tell stories like this.
It IS the litmus test for being a good creative: are you annoying to women.
And it's why upon that dimension were creative men purged from the industry.
Sure creative women too. It's not like there's 0 of those but they are as grating to the general female monolith as these men are. They too get purged and replaced by women or some men who know how to slide in and not make the local matriarchs mad. And the necessarily kills creativety.

I think Cartoon Saloon has that right combination of human experience weaved into fantasy/adventure narratives, although I'll also say their earliest movies (Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea) are also the best examples of their work.

I was too young to go to the movie theaters. But I watched the heck out of it growing up.

Disney fucked over John Musker and Ron Clements on purpose since Treasure Planet was their lifelong passion project instead of making another princess film, which they were known for.
