Nicktoons Racing was a racing game released in 2000 for PS1 and PC that featured many Nickelodeon characters, not just from shows that were airing new episodes such as Rugrats, CatDog, SpongeBob, Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, Wild Thornberries, but also from shows that had already ended like Ren & Stimpy and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters!However, Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life is strangely absent from the game and is the only show with no representation. Doug was owned by Disney and Kablam was always the black sheep of 90s Nicktoons. What gives?

My guess is that the boxart for the Windows/Playstation version was finished some time in 1999 before Spongebob really took off, so they didn't bother to put him on the cover. Then Spongebob exploded in popularity, so they had to throw him on the box somewhere. The GBA cover was done after that.
