The only thing I'll critique is the ending because it's sort of a "we saved the universe and two pages later the book is over" type deal BUT Olan is apparently using one of the expansion parts as a true epilogue. I can only hope for a definitive edition someday.

I got curious about grabbing the cartoon on bluray, and holy fuck is the market utterly flooded with bootlegs. To the point where they're just on every site and nobody cares. I've never seen anything like it.
Breaks my heart every time I remember how Olan had to FIGHT with the networks for Final Space to be treated as the space epic he'd envisioned and not strictly a sci-fi comedy cartoon incapable of letting a moment breathe. Season 2 really suffered from this lack in tonal consistency
At least he's trying give fans closure.Over the decades I've seen too many cartoons with series goals die too often before ever reaching them.
