AT was ruined by constant cheap "retcons". Shit got stale as early as season 3. Pandering to tumblr, inserting loreshit and letting the writers loose. This show wasn't meant to have its lore explained, this retard move stripped one of the show's biggest appeals... The mystery. I know this opinion isn't new, but I had to rant. I couldn't stand the rest of the seasons...

The thing that makes me annoyed about adventurd slime is it is genuinely utterly farcical and stupid in every facet but then it has a throwaway attempt to be deep and be taken seriously, it never fails to feel forced and I hate that in the non-early seasons. The show is like the lamest, faggiest shit ever in and out but because it rocketed off the launchpad being what it was earnestly at first, people became willing to accept whatever form it took. Adventure time doesn't want to be what it is. Stupid, nonsensical, soft, simplistic drivel, no different from your average Looney Tunes short except for not being very funny.
