Did animators just suddenly get lazy, because this trend of releasing unfinished stuff is becoming more common

This animator is especially lazy. Her Twitter was filled with nonstop begging. And I mean fucking NON STOP. And she’s always fly whatever minority flags she could technically claim in an effort to guilt people into giving her money.

Everyone goes through rough patches, but some people just get addicted to the sympathy and free money. Sorry the cutesy crap isn’t paying bills, but at a certain point, get a job at a coffee place?

to be completely honest I would've worked as a cleanup artist on this for free, a lot of these scenes look simple enough to finish in a day. I'm pretty sure I applied for the animator position last year but didn't get it

Animation takes a long time and I think people can’t wait to reap the attention, comments, and likes. What’s ironic is by doing this, they completely diminish the impact of the full release when it’s actually ready.

I didn't hate this. In fact, I think it would've been a very all right show aimed for younger audiences, but it clearly needed maybe one more month of production, this feels like if the people were busy animating it and they were 80% done, and then suddenly the due date got surprise moved back by a significant amount. There was no time to upload to finish the episode, and they just had to upload what they had.

But everything indicates it's an indie production with no set due date aside from a self-imposed one. The idea to just crap it out onto the internet in the unfinished state was an odd choice.
