Can it end how
>>153991011Does this mean she gets all her stuff back?
>>153991011>Parley and Noa just hash it out and we technically don't even get to see itAnyone claiming that Tom isn't actively fucking with the readers by being shit on purpose, defend this. I fucking dare you.
>>153991011>Blue noticing another womanI'll sub to the Patreon if Red kicks Annie's ass over this.
>>153992398Noa has no memory of why she would be trying to fight parley, so she isn't. Pretty simple.
That means they have to FUCK
>>153992398Well that's easy, I don't think it's shit. Their flexibility in the Ideal World setting is more compelling than a few pages of a schoolyard tussle between a chick and some rock candy. And by more compelling I mean we're not necessarily supposed to give a shit about them in the first place. Annie's in the distortion, Zimmy knows, the witches are about to get involved, do you really care what PARLEY does right now? I would only wanna keep up with her if she ends up falling for the yuri spell and making out with the Nerds.
I hope kat is being humiliated and bullied by zimmy's fantasy right now.
>>153992497Either this or she's pupating into her god form.
>>153991011This distortion shit don't work on faeries, I guess, huh? But even if they realize something's off, what exactly are they going to DO about it? As far as we're aware, everyone's been stripped of their powers and abilities.>>153992497>>153992508Wouldn't she be entirely unaffected by all this, though? It's been stressed several time she (personally, from her perspective) absolutely does not see/feel/have anything to do with the ether on a fundamental level, so why start now?
>>153992717Whilst I agree in principle the distortion is unprecedented. It wouldnt be too much of a stretch to believe shes just as affected as everyone else
>>153992717>>153992758She also experienced some of the weird Zimmy shit in the Torn Sea chapter, so who knows.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHE DID IT AGAINAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAFIGHT OVERTHEY'RE FRIENDS NOWOFFSCREEN'DNO STAKESOSTAKESNO CONSEQUENCESOCONSEQUENCES
>>153992717would be funny if we got to see some crappy play props and costumes from her point of view. But she also see psychopomps "correctly" if we remember that joke about the insect death god. I hope it's a bit of both.
>>153992792Go back to /v/
>>153992782Yeah Kat somehow was able to use weird Zimmy shit in the Torn Sea to do really advanced bio-tech stuff that would've taken her months in her lab. Kat also has a tendency to see ether stuff as really simplified, she might see everyone playing in a cardboard town or something.
>>153992806AHAHAHAHAHA KEKOLD FELL FOR IT AGAIN
>>153992798Maybe in a reversal she sees regular Zimmingham and is freaking out. Might be on a different plane of existence, even, keeping her separate from the rest.
>>153992508she a pigeon now
>>153992717Many reasons:1: Her consciousness is connected to her computer in the court. Unless Zimmy's illusion somehow is able to cut that connection, Kat should be seeing two different worlds at the same time.2: Kat's lack of affinity with the ether was established, but this has changed. It was never a very unique thing about Kat in the first place. Kat just started out not having any affinity for the ether at all, just like any ordinary person, but over time she's learned more about it and understands it fairly well now, to the point of having created an interface with the ether that allows her to see it in a very similar capacity as other proficient ether users.3: She is a god. Although this on its own doesn't necessarily mean she instantly sees through the illusion. Loup is a god, too, after all and he's letting himself believe the illusion to be with Lana.4: Why would it even matter if Kat sees what's happening or not? Whether or not Zimmyworld is doing something to Kat would be unaffected by Kat's perception of it. Kat isn't immune to the effects of the ether, she just has a hard time seeing etheric things.
>>153992792are you stupid?
>>153992717>This distortion shit don't work on faeries, I guess, huh?I wanted to say that we've already seen them being affected, but it would be completely in character for the fairies to realize that they are in an illusion, but not give a shit.
>>153992947AHAHAHAHAHAHE DID IT AGAIN
>>153992717>>153993152Aliyu's whole thing is making illusions that make people believe them, including false memories as necessary. Her power even worked on the entire class of fairies (except Red but I assumed that was intentional to tease her, but guess it could be because she's so familiar), so they can be affected by stuff like this. And she's the one who saw through to Noa's true form right before this. Makes sense that she got some inklings that something's up in this situation.
This comic and its fandom is so dead.
>>153994903Your mom's dead
>>153992398Tom was always like this. You grew up, he didn't.
>SOMETHING WILL CERTAINLY HAPPEN!
>>153991011well, it's nice to see that they made up
>>153993152>>153993259>And she's the one who saw through to Noa's true form right before this.Keep in mind they all more or less just entered. We don't actually know that the faeries saw Noa until now. We just know that their "script" let's say had them aware of her, and wary of her. Given Parley and Noa's script had them aware of each other, with pre-loaded beef, but nothing substantial to actually have them fight once put in a scenario to question their roles, I think it's safe to say not every piece of knowledge is reliable knowledge. The fae probably pre-knew about Noa but only just now saw her (in this universe, of course) and have the same moment Annie is having of hold the fuck up that's not quite a person. Annie needed prodding though, and it seems they might not have. I wonder if that's because they're more etheric than she is. Or maybe the illusions thing.>>153995466>Always like thisI agree, but not with the sentiment. Too many readers here getting so worked up about subversion and wasted characters and unanswered questions forgetting this is a story they're not in control of. Your example, for instance. The minotaur being real and just some guy adds a lot of charm to court and its comic. If you would've rather seen a beastly bullman gore two schoolgirls, or a daring magical battle where they manage to defeat him, you're in the wrong comic. If you got this far, and haven't grasped that, you're not "grown up" you're just stupid and stubborn. If you're one of the posters insistent that he's actively pivoted to making decisions just to spite (you) and make the comic wise, doubly so.
Boring chapter so far.
