What abstraction is, if it's really irreversible (maybe Caine could undo it but he never bothered to figure it out), how it progresses in time.
Why Caine's personality changed so dramatically in such a short time that he completely forgot about making adventures, even before removing the blue AI.
What happens when smart NPCs are allowed to live for extended periods of time.
What Caine was trying to do when Scratch abstracted.
Why or how Kinger survived so many years without abstracting. It's not like Caine gave him special treatment.
What Kaufmo found that he thought was the exit. It's probably the same door that Pomni found, but it'd be nice to have confirmation.
It'd be nice to know how many former guests abstracted due to Caine tampering with their minds, vs how many abstracted from natural causes.
The third major location mentioned by Caine in the pilot, the carnival, was never visited during the show. Was there nothing interesting in there?

That isn't a big mystery IMO. Caine was not very good at programming, he probably misconfigured the console so that it moved files elsewhere instead of deleting. Or maybe the deletion was successful but it was a soft delete ("mark Caine as empty space in the hard drive", as opposed to "overwrite Caine with random data to destroy him").
