I am now the proud owner of the first 3 WW (1986) comics. Yes, I know they're overpriced, but they were in great condition and I had store credit I wasn't going to use for anything else.

I read all three and now want to finish the series. I just have two questions:
1. Why is Diana perfect?
2. When the original series came out, what did people think of the lore drop at the beginning? Were people generally familiar with Greek mythology? I grew up on Percy Jackson and my mother would read Edith Hamilton to me, so I had no issue with following along, but I wonder how others felt.
