Can you name any reasons you like the goth characters you do beyond them simply being goth, or would you stop liking them if they dropped the schtick and dressed like a normal person? Are they actually a good character or are you just in it for the color scheme?I kind hate how a character being goth or even goth-ish is enough to make some people do a wild take and awooga and shout "BEST GIRL" for years on end. Like Creepy Susie for example, Oblongs is a fun show but the only thing anyone says about it is about her, they couldn't care less about the rest of it or who she is as a person. It should take more than that to impress you.
I don't like goths.
>>154002767I like regular characters with a gothic alt design by fans occasionally but pure goth characters are never done well. They are either fetish bait or a gross stereotype.Oddly enough I actually enjoy goth music but i dont identify with or dress like a goth.
>>154002906What's your type?
Hot take but goths irl look better than /co/ goths, even though goth girls these days are posers and fakes.
>>154003025>goth girls these days are posers and fakes.Just like the /co/ versions!

>>154002767>would you stop liking them if they dropped the schtick and dressed like a normal person? That's like 80% the appeal of visual fiction, the character design. This is like saying would you still like your favorite show if all the characters we just colored squares. Yeah a lot of stories could get by with a cast made up of colored squares but you are gutting the fun.
>>154004813I would say 50% more like but it's dishonest to say that it's a good reason to call a character the best in a series.
>>154002767this. i have gothfag fatigue. I swear if you just take any type of character and slap on some black and white, it'd get 3/4s of /co/ creaming their slacks.
>>154002767>can you name any reason people online behave weirdly?autism, that's the answer like 90% of the time
