Asher is sympathetic for once. Also since the year is 2010 I was expecting references to the time period (specially webcomics of that time), so far the only thing we have seen is the dour recession atmosphere and an epic-bacon joke

After reading the first line I expected it to be 10 years experience with a programing language that only existed for 3 years.
That was probably later than when the comic is set though.
