Just fininished reading this one. Really great. It's about the trial of Johan of Arc but his judge point of view. Bishop Pierre Cauchon is a fat pig (quite literally, as his name sound like "Cochon,", "Pig" in french). He's willing to trial Johan for political, refusing her a quick execution so "her lies could be officially debunked and to not make her a martyr". But he stepped somewhere he was'nt prepared for and soon, all his convictions shaked. Even through you know the end anyway : torn apart by his loyalty, his faith, the politic and Johan herself, "the most hated man in France" shows a face of humanity.I don't know how much historically true the comic is but it's kino anyway. I hope they would translate it so I could storytime it. Also euro/co/ discussion thread. Share us your last discovery.
Here's the few first pages (no translation, unfortunally)

bumpI've been slowly reading through comix2000, generally good, but because of the sheer volume of it, there's some duds for sure.
>>154011003Woah, that's dark. The son have no chill, kek. Never heard about this comic, i'll check. Is this old ?
>>154011777Depends on what you call old, I suppose. In 2000, for the turn of the millenium l'association released a 2000 page comic with over 300 cartoonists each contributing a short wordless story.I don't think it's available to pirate, yet, at least I hope not, since I'm scanning it at the moment.
