I finally came to terms on how bad the finale was to the point it soured my entire experience about TADC. For a long time, I felt betrayed, cheated on, unsatisfied but now came this serene and peaceful feeling of just, letting go, knowing that any form of conflicts just petered out like nothing ever happened. No consequences, even the pay out feels cheated on from how quickly characters turn about, on their own terms. Even if the excuse may be in the future that they're simulating humans and is part of their own erroneous behavior. Even if in the end it's to portray a tacked on message that feels rushed and ironic how the finale ends.The premise itself, now that I don't feel so enamored about the series, just feels bland, VRchat simulator without no explanation and even OCs going to that universe just rings hollow, like an what if a self-insert or similar got a wacky avatar for VRchat. And sure, I get what some people will say, it wasn't that kind of history and you were expecting too much, yadda yadda.
