It'll end when the studios go kaput. They're stuck in a cycle of hiring the same people over and over because of how the industry works. The institutions have to fall to allow anyone else to have a chance.

Confession time: I never grew up with He-Man so I always assumed he was some cartoon for gays/homosexuals. I'm not kidding. It was a combination of his name being "He-Man" which just sounds some tongue-in-cheek name on its face + him being a swole shirtless guy who gave off homoerotic energy. That one old parody of "What's Going on" that just straight up made him gay didn't help either. It wasn't until later on that I learned people actually played the character completely straight (both metaphorically and literally)
