Has anyone ever hear about the french comic "Chroniques de la lune noire" as a kid I was obsessed. It was a single guys project it took him 3 years per per volume. From 1989 to 2008. Every single page is a piece of art. If you are really into 80s aesthetic fantasy see if you can get your hands on it.
