Yesterday we saw once again that Peter Parker's will power is equal or greater to that of Norman Osborne's>previous threadshttps://pastebin.com/MZztSARC
This game was on Dreamcast?Far out.
But yeah this comic was distributed exclusively in CanadaAnd sponsored by Doritos.
>>154017307CANADAEY OKAY
RIP TeleToon
>>154017404It's over? I remember watching when I was at my relatives' house, but thinking back that was almost a decade ago. Tripping the Rift in French was kind of interesting.
>>154017532It's been a while since I checked, I only ever end up watching tv when staying at hotels, but they seem have, like, been bought by YTV? and became a second YTV channel?
I kinda really like this so farNatural progression from the last big story instead of just dumping everything to start a new story, and Peter taking an actual healthy interest in something in his life
>>154017328Yeah, one page in and it already feels like it's not cannon.
>>154017493For a Wolverine special, the guy didn't do much.
>>154017860Well, that was a pretty quick 180 on the menace scale.
>>154017664We can't make comics like this today.
Oh
>>154017909>Fucking Millennial Man!Doctor Robert Bruce Banner, presumably.
>>154017860This was a joke villain. A JOKE VILLAIN!
I really should learn some of my own family's lore
>>154017788So is every Dan Slott book whats your point?
Now we're in for a long stretch of non-spider-titles
>>154017972I liked that. Reminds me of a story that wouldn't exist for over a decade and a half from a vastly different franchise, in all the best ways.
>>154018040Oh shit, Bob is already here? I know it'll be a while before he really becomes part of the universe, but still.
Just so we're clear, this didn't "actually happen" right? This is all new comic books?
>>154018313Yeah Sentry is a big fat retcon played completely straight
>>154018313Yeah, Sentry's original gimmick was that he was basically a living retcon of sorts.
>>154018313Since we aren't really going to be diving into it, I'll just spoil what's going on (or the final version that will be cannon in the long run since there are some recons). All of these flashbacks are things that have happened and are cannon. To lock away the Void, Sentry had to make himself and the rest of the world forget about him, so any and all flashbacks are things the world forgot, but have happened in the universe off screen.
>>154017314Unironically still a contender for that title
>>154017493I'd legit love this team of Avengers even if it's full of redundancies
And that's it for todayDo you guy s want to spend time reading all the Sentry one shots? They're all on the listOr do we just read the Spider-Man one and skip the rest?
>>154018782Thanks for storytiming, Magister!>Do you guy s want to spend time reading all the Sentry one shots? They're all on the list>Or do we just read the Spider-Man one and skip the rest?I've never read them, so I have no idea how relevant they are. Can't really answer with certainty.
>>154018782I don't particularly care for or about Sentry. But it's up to you. If it's on the list I do feel compelled to advocate for it
>>154017307>#38Wow, we went all the way back to 2022. Canadian timezones are nuts.
>>154018313That first panel is exactly why Todd always erased noses.
>>154018782If there's a sufficient amount of Pete in them, I don't see why not. They're canon, after all.
MJ is still presumed dead? When I heard about it I thought it wouldn't be more than a few threads. Marvel really hated the marriage.
>>154019228Yeah, this is the point where they really started to go all in on that bullshit.
>>154019228she's back in 2 issues
>>154018782Thanks magister
>>154017314That version had enhanced models as well. Pretty weird.>>154017664>Hmmm....what could be causing this? >People? But what type of people?>Why is it that this only started to be the case since the 1960's?>Hmm.....aw hell. I oughta read a book sometime. Maybe dat would help....>Or maybe some laws? Yeah dat oughta do it....immigration laws? Hmm.....>>154017841Are they implying Man Mountain Marko? Also deep lore....
>>154018907Magister's storytime was rebooted
>>154021702>Storytime's Reborn
>>154017972You know, I appreciate how this parallels the earliest scene without drawing a giant arrow pointing it out, but it feels like it goes too far in that direction to really work. The denouement doesn't go back to the original issue particularly well. The Norman angle falls away to the detriment of the story. Like, there's nothing in >>154017841 to thread through the stuff about the Osborn line from the story directly causing this one?I can't help but want to see how JMD or Conway would've done it. There would probably be a graveyard and end on Pete leaving that graveyard.
>>154021539Racism aint cool bruh
>>154017860>>154017966>>154017893Better costume than that 1970s movie at least
>>154017972Sorry I apparently killed two people already
>>154018265Wow. Excellent first impression, Bob.
>>154017558YTV is owned by Nickelodeon now.
>>154018365The perpetually dramatic hand movements kinda distract from the gravity it should have.
>>154019266I liked they're relationship during the JMS run. Shame it ends with BONG!>>154019390Good. This is really annoying knowing it's all for cheap drama and letting Peter kind of being single but nothing comes of it because he can't be a "cheater" despite not knowing she's still alive.
>>154022408Wdym? I'm just following the clues.
>>154018782>Next time on the storytime: Peter gets a Pulitzer prize
>>154017307But Hulk is States citizen.
>>154018494Did Shamrock get a new look since Contest of Champions?
>>154017355>Earth's (Silver Surfer)>strongest (Storm, Captain America)
>>154018494nice butt
It's so weird starting from the very beginning and going all the way to when I first started reading comics. Disassembled is in 4 years.
>>154017307bump
