That show gave us Dennis Falk, the OG cartoon sperg who stalked the voice actor of Babs Bunny, the notorious /co/ sperg Famicum who worships it like it’s the second coming of christ, not to mention the constant times when stalkers were harassing the shows staff and actors. The show seemed to have been popular among furries in the 90’s as well, particularly pedo furries who goon to Babs Bunny's feet.

This show was the 90’s equivalent to The Loud House in the sense of it attracting the most autistic creatures imaginable.

Furries.

I'm aware we've had this thread before, but it's nice to see others put him in his place.

Colorful
Cartoon
Animals

same as with Sonic and Pokemon

I thought it was the VA of Fifi?
>>
>>154023280
Tiny toons was really overrated just like animainiacs was and i still dont get how their was a dedicated fanbase of mostly gen-x'ers over this show. The 90s overall was a peak era and probably the height of civilization up to this point but tiny toons was painfully mid.
>>
>>154023462
And a will-they-won't-they subplot
>>
>>154023524
Because they were funny unlike Ren and Stimpy
>>
>>154023524
You want painfully mid? try watching the Klasky-Csupo Nicktoons that weren't Rugrats
>>
>>154023937
Thornberries, Rocket Power and Ginger were good though
>>
>>154023967
Never listen to the opinion of a tripfag.
>>
>>154023967
Thornberries? Sure
Ginger? Hell no
Rocket Power? Hell freaking no. I was 10 or 9 when that show aired, and even I could tell how hard it tried to be hip and extreme. It was one of the earliest examples of the how you do fellow kids meme
>>
>>154023280
Wow, that was a 3 whole seconds without whining about the loud house, great job that must have taken restraint.
>>
no, kys
>>
>>154024012
>examples of the how you do fellow kids meme
Not really. They were exaggerated because it's a cartoon but that show was liked well enough because kids genuinely were getting more in bmx and skateboarding
>>
>>154023866
aren't they siblings?
>>
>>154025630
No it was genuinely cringe. Or lame, embarrassing, epic fail, or whatever the fuck we used to say back then. Tony Hawk Pro Skater came a year later, and that was cool. Rocket Power was not. It was, and I know this word has lost all its meaning, it was safe edgy, or corporately controlled edgy, for a better rephrase
>>
>>154025727
It wasn't any of that stuff though. It was just a kids fucking around on adventures cartoon with a coat of Xtreme sports paint over it and plenty of kids watched it at the time. You're seriously overthinking it
>>
>>154023911
Ren and Stimpy was way funnier then shit like tiny toons
>>154023937
Rugrats was mid shit itself too
>>
>>154023280
Even as a kid i thought Tiny Toons was kind of a shit show and only watched it until something better was on. It's hard to imagine how it seems to attract people that worship the fuck out of it to any degree.
>>
>>154023937
I never understood why they would not just go make a damn teen show. They made like 4 different series about 10-12 year olds that were really acting like 17 year old high school seniors with teen issues. Just make a fucking show about 17 year olds in high school. It's not like Nickelodeon did not have a shit load of those at the time, they weren't Disney Channel demanding everyone be 13 or under no matter what.

I thought rocket Power kind of ran into the issue of a show about skateboarding kids by adults who have never seen a skateboard up close and likely never went to a beach in their lives. It was an awkward Fellow Kids the series. But with an extra layer of We're so awesome rad cool guys too!!
>>
>>154023937
>>154025938
I felt like they just plain needed to stop drawing humans, they sucked at designing humans. Santo Bugito, Duckman, and Real Monsters works better with their scribbley weird style.
>>
>>154023280
Man, I had no clue about any of this shit until like last year and I grew up watching that show. I fucking loved Tiny Toons. It's awful and kind of hilarious that the show attracted so many artists.
>>
>>154025967
>It was an awkward Fellow Kids the series
Not really. It's just a gimmick for the kids to get into slice of life adventures. Every kid back then had a bmx bike and skateboard so a cartoon about that stuff was just accepted. Plenty zillennials know the wiggity handshake they do too. It was never hated when it aired
>>
>>154023280
Guys, I got a confession: I couldn't get into Tiny Toons or Animaniacs when I tried watching them as an adult.

My family was poor, I went without proper cable, sometimes even basic channels, for all the 90's and most of the early 2000's. I saw these sometimes at hotels or other kid's homes, but never my own. When I looked them up in my 20's to catch up on what I missed out on... I couldn't do it.
>>
>>154023280
Because this show is nearly 40 years old. If you're still discussing any kids show after 40 years, you are by definition a manchild.
>>
>>154026236
Cope.
>>
>>154026236
The whole thread is about how this one show seems to really generate a creepy level of fascination in people and wanting to know what in the hell is that that causes it.

The fact that it's a 40+ year old show that still does this is another layer to that morbid fascination.
>>
>>154023280
I think it's funnier when you see these types of nerds get made fun of and they start bitching on the internet about it.

Like nigger, if you didn't want to get shown that way, maybe just DON'T act that way in the first place.
>>
>>154023280
I liked the show as a kid. Only the video games still hold up
>>
>>154026236
>>154026932
When I see that op image, I just figure at some point someone's gonna get bitchy about "da show runners making fun of me >:c".
>>
never watched tiny toons, i'll give it a watch sometime and see if i turn into an autistic manchild.

When I saw Rocket Power as a kid, I always wondered why a show that tries to be KEWL uses the same ugly molten plastic baby artstyle that Rugrats did. That style simply doesn't mesh well with THE 'TUDE, DUDE.

>Only the video games still hold up
Agreed, though they really shit the bed with Tiny Toons games during the 5th gen.
>>
People always say Tiny Toons is shit but never Taz-Mania or Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, actual shows that starred Looney Tunes characters. You know why? Because they were nowhere near as popular as TTA, so they don't generate hate despite being much much worse.
>>
>>154023280
Everything is a magnet for autistic man children because only autistic man children give a fuck about anything
Normies love in a probability fog. They cant understand the world theyre in and get by by aping succesful people they observe.
Like, fucking figure it out
Either it's the group who cares critiquing you or it's the group who doesn't care ignoring you. Maybe sell insurance if being a cartoonist is too hard.

I don't know, why are you a manchild?
>>
>>154025938
>I never understood why they would not just go make a damn teen show
If I recall correctly, it was because of Nickelodeon preferring to make cartoons about kids. Spongebob going to boating school was a compromise between Nick and Hillenburg because Nick wanted Spongebob to be a kid who still lived with his parents and went to school.

I'm an incel pervert. I'm in it for the porn.

Tiny Toons was very ok if you didn't care. The shows you mentioned are just the boring forgettable kind of show.

The latter, I think I caught a few times on sick days at home

The former; never seen it period.
>>
>>154031001
I caught the entire run of Taz-Mania on MeTV Toons recently, it is actually okay. It's understandable that no one ever talks about because it's simply a cartoon you watch, have a few chuckles, and then forget about it.
>>
>>154023280
The creators were insanely insecure and made up fan stupid fanboys to be angry at instead of owning up to the criticism that large chunks of the Tiny Toons show wasn't as good as the average Looney Tunes cartoon.
>>
>>154036461
The fanboys were real, they posted on newsgroups back then.
>>
>>154036461
>made up fan stupid fanboys to be angry at instead of owning up to the criticism
Fascinating, so Spielberg was a trailblazer setting up how the creators of TTG would go on to handle their own series.

I liked tiny toons because I liked the original characters they were bases on.
It was fine but if I have to be honest I liked animaniacs and Tazmania more.
I don't know why Taz being like that why his entire family was just normal ended up being so funny but it worked, also the kiwi being off brand road runner just worked.

I never realized this show had such a weird fanbase, I just assumed night of the living nerd was a joke similar to the get a life foundation.

Literally /cub/: The Series and you ask why it draws in autistic weirdos

Of course they did, but they weren't a bunch of completely unreasonable retards like the show portrayed them as.
>>
>>154037417
The internet wasn't at its peak, if there were legendary lol cows or horror cows in that era they arent documented unless they committed a crime.

Truth be told we may never know the full extent of the fandom unless some old wizard enlightens us of the old days.
