>>154027496I liked how the main cast kind of represented the breadth TCG players. Tom was the lore guy highly invested in the world. Peyton was more there just for the card game, being the one to come up with odd decks and stratedgies. And Sarah was the trader only interested in collecting rare cards. And then Kaz was the autist who had one deck and faction he really liked and refused to do anything else. The show honestly had a lot of untapped potential with its worldbuilding with the aspect of human characters getting to interact with the game world and their relationship to it. With how the creatures of Perim were constantly suspicious of the humans but also finding ways to use them.
