This show was very overrated. 90s Spider-Man is way better. The 90s was the best decade for animation and every decade afterwards fucking sucks.

I do agree that it's overrated but I think you should take your pills and take a nap, grandpa.
>>
>>154032402
90s Spider-Man is way better! Atleast it didn't have any cheesy lines. Every single 90s cartoon is better than every single 2000s cartoon.
>>
>>154031919
A lot of Spider-Man fans would agree that the 1990s animated series. Spider-Man has some strengths that make it stand out even decades later: Unlike many cartoons of its era, it used multi-episode arcs and ongoing continuity, making the story feel more epic.
>>
>>154031919
I don't think it's overrated but I would say tas Peter is completely unmatched in adaptations and is the gold standard for adapting him
>>
>>154031919
One reason I don't like 2000s cartoons is because they got rid of the cel animated vibe. I hate digital coloring and digital animation, because it looks a lot less warm.
>>
>>154033803
For the most part, digital animation only worked for theatrical films.

>today I'm going to roleplay being an old grouch while making hyperbolic statements that're obviously wrong so they're entirely unbelievable for some reason

> Long-form storytelling
> Large cast of villains and heroes
> Faithfulness to comic storylines
> Peter Parker's characterization
> Memorable atmosphere
> Ambitious finale
That said, some fans prefer later versions such as The Spectacular Spider-Man for tighter writing and character development. But if your priorities are comic-book-style adventures, serialized stories, and a classic Spider-Man feel, the 90s series is often near the top of fan rankings.

I mean yeah it's overrated but I'd say it's just a different show. Not exactly better nor worse.
Although I still don't like the art style, Peter being INCREDIBLY SELFISH and inconsiderate dick even without the black suit, and awful design and voice for Venom.
At this point we really need a Spidey cartoon that doesn't focus on him in school, let him be an adult and don't be cheap.
And for the love of god don't put Spider in some team or even worse, surround him by other spider people that are just him but with better and more of powers.
I kinda feel the Spider Noir could easily be animated and it would work nicely as new thing for the Spider-Man

>this thing that nobody cares about sucks
>the thing that everyone thinks is awesome is awesome
Wow, what a great thread op, you retarded idiot.
>>
>>154031919
Why is Spectacular often considered the best? Maybe it's because I love the 90s so much, but I found the 90s Spider-Man to be the best version of Spidey.
>>
>>154034072
Spectacular Spider-Man is a 2000s show. The 2000s is one of the worst decades for media along with the 2010s and 2020s. The 90s was the best decade for animation by far. The 80s was great too and had a lot of great toy commercials, but the 90s was the best.

In fact, the best Spider-Man shows after the 90s one are Spider-Man 1967, Spider-Man 1981 and Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.
>>
>>154033836
Every single 2000s cartoon sucks. I can't think of a single good cartoon from the 2000s. Same with 2010s and 2020s. I think Courage the Cowardly Dog was the last good cartoon to come out.
>>
>>154034105
I'm sorry but are you legit retarded? What kind of response is this?
>>
>>154034140
Those are the best Spider-Man shows. They used cel animation rather than the garbage digital coloring.
>>
>>154034160
What does it have to do with what I posted?
>>
>>154034140
I'm sure if those Spider-Man shows came out in the 2000s, they'd suck, but they came out in either the 60s, 80s or 90s and back then, everything was amazing.
>>
>>154034177
I'm not retarded. I think those 4 are the best Spidey shows. Best one is 90s Spider-Man, then Amazing Friends, then 1967 Spidey and then 1981 Spidey.
>>
>>154034228
You are because you can't follow a simple conversation and you keep regressing to an irrelevant point.
>>
>>154034129
and you make this point in a thread about the dogshit looking 90s spider-man cartoon, where people are saying retarded shit like this >>154033803
>>154033824
as if the exact cartoon being posted here as "the good cartoon" isn't itself digitally colored and animated
right that's enough (you)s your bit's done just go to bed and jack off
>>
I grew up with 90s TAS first and it had worse animation, action scenes, writing, and pacing - you might not have noticed how everyone talked a mile a minute when you were a kid, but you would now.
>>
90s TAS is not that great a show.
>>
>>154037316
>>154036349
You clearly don't appreciate the 90s like I do.
