Feel like this series shouldn't have never been one of Cartoon network's most prominent and popular shows because it doesn't do anything at all, does it have full-on action like Samurai Jack, The designs of the characters are not will design and cute like in the Powerpuff girls, The show is not half as funny as something like Ed Edd n Eddy or Cow and Chicken, the show doesn't do pop culture references well like in Johnny Bravo, it doesn't set the atmosphere or giving you a chilling fear of horror like Courage, I know all the show is is just a arrogant egocentric asshole child and one boring location what should I say is his so-called "laboratory"but he spurts out about his annoying stupid Jerk Ass Homer Sister doing the same Tom and Jerry bullshit routine in every episode with abrupted endings that don't make any sense or neither are funny, and this shit stain of a show barely has any characters like the rest of the shows, these guys don't even have them last names, WHY IS THIS SHOW CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, I can't believe it jumps out such a creative in the industry like Genndy Taratokovsky if it was any other creator this would a bomb their career hard.

Dexter's Lab is just a weird show when you think about it. It's mainly just a bunch of random ass skits and the lab part is mainly just a back drop. I think that's also what makes it good because it just doesn't care about morals or a message, it's just goofy fun that still somehow stays pretty grounded even when they have to use deus ex endings.
