Except of course she can't, not at first, and it takes her however many years and a journey to another galaxy to finally manage as much as a Force push. That's not too outrageous of a result, and having just recently watched Ahsoka it didn't feel unearned to me. Though I think it would have helped if they actually showed us some of her initial training with Ahsoka before they split up instead of just mentioning it.

I'm aware that lot of that period is heavily covered by the comics, but I'm sure they can still squeeze in new stories, possibly adapt some existing ones for TV, and show what other characters were doing in that time. In particular it would be a good opportunity to tie some loose ends and continue the stories of various surviving characters introduced in The Bad Batch (Omega), Tales, Rebels, Andor, Rogue One, etc. and show what have they been up to during the OT. And finally shed some light on what the fuck Ahsoka was doing after Malachor. Maybe have 1-2 seasons between Yavin and Hoth and between Hoth and Endor each, and then start moving the narrative forward towards the Mando/Ahsoka era, where ideally future spin-off shows will follow instead of being stuck between the PT and OT forever.
