I just watched Digital Circus for the first time. And what struck me is that this is not the type of show I thought it'd be from the fandom or discussion online. People treat it like there's a ton to theorize about and there's so many mysteries and etc etc but it's really not that. They don't talk about the exit basically at all from episodes 2-7. It's just an emotional narrative with an interesting hook about what would happen if digital copies of real human beings got trapped in a 90s video game. I haven't watched the ending yet, but it seems people are mad at it for "not answering questions," questions which don't really exist and were never the main point of the series.

There is actually a ton of threads and hints at something larger, mostly in the occult circles like Kinger needing darkness to find wisdom and knowing yourself to know what you truly want to appease God. The most in your face one was a literal NPC who started to gain awareness. But the fanbase was literally too retarded to pick up any of this and just talked about who to ship with who and who might be trans. This could all of been wrapped up or at least explained in the ending but Goose pandered to the troons and made the ending entirely about his self insert and an epilogue about the characters.

If you watch TADC in one go, you won't even register most of the details that spawned popular theories, but people who watched it as it came out would wait months for a new episode.
