What will be the next new film/tv star wars project? I mean the next new thing they'll announce. Place your bets.
Damn, that guy ain't even ugly he just radiates aura. I suppose they're jigglos to female humanoids as female Lekkus are to male humanoids.
>>154082399Whatever happened to that star wars show, where it was like The Goonies. I remember watching 1 episode, then not watching the rest and then nobody talking about it.
>>154082484Skeleton Crew?It was honestly very good. Just not eventful so nobody talks about it
What's your favorite Twi'lek color?
Post boobies
I'm begging for a major project in one of these eras. Infact they should be the focus of the next decade or so My prediction is the opposite of that
>>154082484It was a great self-contained thing, with Jude Law carrying it a lot. But the cast, setting and story were all good.It didn't really shit the bed so no one complained too hard about it outside of complains about kid protagonists and the 2 lesbian moms. No real fight so the fight choregraphy didn't matter. It didn't do anything out of the ordinary, no big reveal or well-known character showing up so no one really discusses it.It was said to be a 1 season thing so no one really makes theories about it.I guess most people didn't watch it because they assume it's for kids.
>>154082529He never said high quality, just one he never saw.
Am I crazy or is Mos Eisley really not that bad? Fuckin' Lower Coruscant seems WAY worse, honestly.
>>154082921Isn't Starfighter set after the Sequels?Hopefully they can build from that.
>>154082399 Padme and Ahsoka and Anakin The Skywalkers.
>>154082444Give my wife a spin-off. Have her train a new generation of pilots and shit
>>154083011You. Keep talking.
>>154082484Skeleteon Crew was pretty fun ended up being one of the better Star Wars TV shows
>>154083016Both Ahsoka and Hera are victims of the cultural stigma against cartoons. Both were characters who were constructed from the ground up for the medium of animation. And it shows when you try to put them in live-action. This just doesn't work, man.
>>154082921But you got the acolyte :)
>>154082985there both probably bad, like living in Kowloon Walled City vs living in Al Hudaydah both suck but for diffrent reason
>>154083075I'd happily take another season of the Acolyte over more empire vs rebels right now
>>154082921I get the sentiment of the PT and OT eras being oversaturated, but we need one last show set during the Rebellion and New Republic eras that would wrap up the stories of characters from all the other shows set during the eras that you have crossed out, characters who otherwise just disappear during the OT. Tie up all the lose ends in a neat big bow and then start moving the franchise to further out eras.
>>154083034 I get this OC fanfiction to an AI that would actually give you adult sexual fanfiction. Here's how I open it up to the AI. I get this OC fanfiction to an AI that would actually give you adult sexual fanfiction. Here's how I open it up to the AI. And I was using speech to text and I was constantly interrupted and didn't have a thing to read me back what I just said and what it had on at the moment and also it did turn out the AI understood what I was telling it.That thing can be so smart and yet so dumb at the same time I have you know.
>>154082770Red
>>154083118Honestly what I want to see is ACTUAL Empire vs Rebels, in that it's set during the civil war proper instead of that weird space immediately before and after it. There are five whole years between ANH and ESB and the only stuff really exploring that period are a couple of books and some comics nobody read.
Why is LucasFilms so against having Bothans in the films and shows?
>>154082921Agreed but I give an immediate pass to a Luke Skywalker project during the New Republic
I seen some YouTube videos but any good examples of former separatists who fought against the Jedi joining the Rebellion after the Clone Wars? Or people just leaving the separatists who eventually join the rebel alliance against the empire?
>>154083183Hi George.
>>154083230I disappointing amount of living separatists end up joining the empire, because God forbid we have some moral ambiguity in this franchise
>>154083238Too powerful, can't be beat
>>154083064Eh, Ahsoka was a bit bland, but Hera worked fine in live-action for me. But also nobody said it had to be a live-action project. Honestly I think Star Wars works best in an animated medium, because you can go crazy with exotic environments and various creatures in a way that is much harder (and likely much more expensive) to do in live-action.
>>154083185>There are five whole years between ANH and ESB*Three, but otherwise I agree
>>154083306That whole exchange she had with the Imperial in episode 2 afaik, was ungodly idiotic and OOC.>Ma'am, I am not authorized to open this>I am a general, I demand you open it>I need authorization from my superiors>I am a general, I authorize you to open it
I miss prime Ahsoka... Live action blows so much, it hurts.
>>154083374I think the dude is technically a civilian so she probably can't really do much other than try and verbally boss/threaten him, as launching any sort of formal procedure to get him to comply would take too long
>>154083438Oh no, she stopped being underage :(
>>154083257>>154083230I think I like the concept of a separate this leader who was not very noticeable hired a mercenary dude or strategist who managed to give him and his relative small forces of impressive victories and his strategist or general was the constant professional man on the job that is initially given reasonable advice at the time after General Grievous died that it would be in his employer's best interest to surrender but the moment the guy finds out what happened to the Jedi he's like okay something's messed up is going on with the Senate and the guy in charge of it and he and his dudes managed to by the newest margin save has about to insolanda Empirer from being executed and decided just and his employer would do an underground fighting against the empire since then and the strategist likes to say things like I made my bones against the Clones and no not the week ones they have now I mean the ones during the Clone Wars.
>>154083283I get you
>>154083230A Seperatist's joining the Rebellion would be contradictory to the Separatist's stated goals, seceding from the Republic.
>>154082399
>>154083230>>154083632Eh, you can make it work. The Republic becoming the Empire gives them a good grounds to fight the Empire, and as the war drags on and they get kicked around the galaxy, they could become desperate enough to throw in with the AtRtR. If you can't create a separatist state, next best thing is rebuilding the Republic in the hopes that you could address the primary separatist concerns. I did have an idea for a series following the son of a separatist remnant warlord who eventually joins the alliance loosely based on the Horatio Hornblower stories. But with how raped Star Wars is culturally I'm not sure it would gain any traction among fans or younger people. People want the member berries.
>>154082770green
>>154083530She's 18 here, retard. But also, even Rebels Ahsoka blows that ugly sheboon D*wson out of the water. Even cartoon for little girls blows her out of the water. Live-action slop is a crime against humanity.
>>154083846>>154083905Kindly kill yourself
>>154083632A separatist would first need to bring the Republic back in order to secede from the Republic....More seriously, though, the Empire was even less what the Separatists said they wanted then the Republic. Whilst joining 'the alliance to restore the Republic' would not be what former Separatists dreamed of, I'm pretty sure they could wrangle some sort of '"If we help you restore the republic, don't include us in it' agreement with the desperate rebels.
>>154083905>>154083846Do Padme and Ahsoka and Anakin The Skywalkers. See >>154083034
>>154083927>>154083632 Someone just occurred to me did Count Dooku actually know his evil side master was in fact in charge of the Republic himself? I could imagine it being quite funny if he won that big bottle near the end of the prequel movie and either way there'll be a bunch of funny reactions if he did or did not know about the Sith Lord guy starting acting like I'm in charge of you and he doesn't know or he already did and everyone's wondering why did Dooku just switch sides .
>>154083283
>>154083992If you go by Canon? Yes, he did know. IMO it's kind of a bad play, as it removes a lot of the ambiguity of movie Dooku, and weather or not he was an actual idealist, a cold hearted Sith playing both sides, or whether the former gradually became the latter.
>>154084065 I gave this to an AI and it gave me the following ,Yes, Count Dooku absolutely knew that his Sith Master, Darth Sidious, was secretly Supreme Chancellor Palpatine running the Republic. [1, 2, 3]Evidence of His Knowledge• The Geonosis Reveal: In Attack of the Clones, Dooku explicitly tells Obi-Wan Kenobi that a Sith Lord named Darth Sidious controls the Galactic Senate. While Obi-Wan thinks it is a lie, Dooku is actually telling the literal truth to manipulate him. [1]• The Clone Army Plot: Dooku (under his Sith name, Darth Tyranus) personally hired Jango Fett to be the clone template. He worked directly with Palpatine to manufacture the entire war from both sides. [1, 2]• The Final Betrayal: In Revenge of the Sith, during their battle aboard the Invisible Hand, Dooku looks at Palpatine in shock only after Palpatine orders Anakin to "Kill him. Kill him now." Up until that exact second, Dooku believed Palpatine was his partner. [1]1.2
>>154084108The Comedy of Winning the BattleIf Dooku had actually won that final battle against Anakin and Obi-Wan, the situation would have been a masterclass in awkward, dark comedy:• The Fake Hostage Situation: Dooku would have "captured" the Chancellor, forcing them to sit in a room together pretending to be enemies while waiting for General Grievous to pilot the ship.• The Silent Glances: Imagine Dooku trying to negotiate a fake ransom with Palpatine while the Republic fleet is blasting the ship to pieces outside.• The Ultimate Plan: Dooku's actual goal was to arrest Palpatine "officially," force the Republic to surrender, and then co-rule a new Empire with Palpatine, exposing the Jedi as corrupt. [1]If Dooku Had Been Clueless (The Alternate Reality)If Dooku didn't know, the comedy would be even better.• The Confusion: Dooku captures the Chancellor, and Palpatine suddenly says, "Excellent work, my apprentice." Dooku would just be staring at this old politician in complete bewilderment.• The Public Reaction: If Dooku suddenly stopped fighting because he realized his boss was the guy he was trying to overthrow, the entire galaxy would be deeply confused. The Separatists would wonder why their leader just gave up, and the Republic would wonder why their Chancellor is suddenly sharing tea with a war criminal.Ultimately, Dooku was a sophisticated political idealist who thought he was playing chess, only to realize at the very last second that he was just a pawn meant to be sacrificed for Anakin's turn to the dark side. [1, 2]To explore this further, I can outline how the Separatist council would react to the news, break down Palpatine's original backup plan if Anakin had lost, or look at other times Dooku dropped hints to the Jedi. Which angle would you like to explore next?2.2
>>154084137I feel like we can get the most comedy out of asking it to can outline how the Separatist council would react to the news . And ask it to in at 1 point so the serious what would probably happen and 2 give me a scene to make it Full of comedic misunderstandings and people not getting each other at the next Separatist council meeting. including them questioning if maybe the problems and grievances were the two dark side users who are now in charge of them to begin with who screwed over both sides.
>>154081451>>154081478That's blocking, I'm talking about DEFLECTION. Notice how the bolts are disappearing upon hitting her sabers?
>>154084279Oh yeah, but the point is that the Jedi can use their lightsabers to protect themselves from stun bolts just as easily as from normal blasts. So they wouldn't be more effective against the Jedi as the original conversation suggests
>>154084340They’re also slow and even if they do hit a Jedi it isn’t a guarantee that it’d put them down.
>>154084340>So they wouldn't be more effective against the Jedi as the original conversation suggestsThey can't be used to kill/incapacitate the people shooting which, again, drastically limits a lightsaber users ability to control a firefight against superior numbers, keeping them on the defensive.
>>154084522Nor is a single blaster bolt. Its not about being a one shot kill, its about maintaining fire superiority. Unless they've got Vader tier force abilities they're going to be at a greater disadvantage than they would if they had to deal with normal blaster fire.
>>154082399The sequel saga woulda been better if the new republic was evil and corruptGundam did it better
>>154085063>if the new republic was evil and corruptIt might as well already be. It's full of imperial sympathizers at all levels and corrupt politicians like that guy who actively goes behind Leia's back to block Hera's attempts to investigate the possibility Thrawn's return for no fucking reason, all while Mon Mothma sits on her ass and pretends it's all fine
Rate my Cals gear
>>154083992Of course he knew. Dooku worked with Palpatine because his solution to galactic societal rot was to be an accelerationist that could build something new in the aftermath. But accelerationism is the path to the dark side and he wasn't able to outmanuever Papa Palpatine.
>>154085603>he wasn't able to outmanuever Papa PalpatineHe never even tried.
>>154083475I'm pretty sure Hera had the authority to order them to open it, they were just trying to stall her long enough for the ship to take off.
>>1540853937/10I was really surprised ther was no blaster based on the bergmann, considering how famous mando's blaster is by now, probably more popular than Han Solo'sWeirdly enoguh, there were two blasters based on the Luger, like the blaster Jyn Erso used in Rogue One.
>>1540853938/10 cute blaster
>>154083230Separatists and rebels do not get along actually. The rebellion is called the rebellion to restore the republic, which means they fight against the empire which they do not recognize as being a continuation of the republic. Because of this the rebels do not want to involve themselves with anything separatist like the droid and notable separatist leaders. Some separatists do join the rebellion but they have to make a pledge of loyalty to the rebellion and disavow the separatists. The reason the rebels do this is because they dont want the PR disaster of the galactic civil war being the clone wars 2.0 and the empire able to use propaganda that the rebels are just a continuation of the CIS.
>>154085975Is that how they mention a sex bought in a kid friendly work supplement material?
It's kinda interesting that the Clone Wars OC units keep the show proportions. Would be interesting to see a somewhat "balanced" proportions ala the B2
>>154082921>Rise of the First Orderremove this era, Star Wars is fixed.
Why did Disney decide to stop making content for Legends? I understand they wanted their own clean slate with the new canon but it seems like a missed opportunity to make produces for both series.
>>154082921>new jedi orderThe response to this will always be "why couldn't we have gotten this with Luke?".
Was this dude like a lesser version of the Mortis gods? Or was he just a very powerful, but mortal force user, like Mother Talzin?
>>154086375The B2 dorids that showed up in that one episode of Mando are much thicker than they were in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. They are keeping up some designs from TCW becasue they work.
>>154086674This, its inherently tainted. They’ll never be able to sell us on the premise.>Why couldn’t we get this with Luke?>Where’s Grogu?>Where is Ahsoka?
>>154086674>>154087248As I said in several threads, the only way to avoid this mess is to skip 300 to 400 years into the future.Throw away line saying Rey's jedi order failed like Luke's, because they tried to keep everything the same as the original. The Galaxy would have two orders of protectors, the Mandalorian Knights, Force-sensitive mandalorians, led by Din Grogu, Mandalore, military, spiritual and political leader all in one, his knights would keep a good chunk of the galaxy safe, this area would be know as the League of Independent Systems, having broken away from the Republic centuries ago. Although the planets on it are independent, the council that controls the League would be under Grogu's leadership. The New Republic would still exist, but would have lost a lot of planets to the League, not through war, but through the erosion caused by their bureaucracy. the New Republic would fall under the protection of the order of Tanalorr, descending from Cal Kestis, Merrin and the jedi of the Hidden Path, they would mix jedi teachings and Nightsister magiks. The League and the Republic wouldn't be at war, but there would be tension and star systems would be contested, the republic and it's jedi would also be suspicious of Grogu and the amount of power he holds over the League.Blah blah blah, they have to come together to fight the Vong or grysk or whatever.
>>154087633Cool, so which faction would Ryloth be in?
>>154087884Well, if they followed the ideals of Cham Syndulla, they would probably join the League of Independent Systems, trying to be as free as possible, but I think it would be funny and ironic if, even centuries later, they would continue to be exploited by the Republic.
>>154085228I don't see how the whole "ah yes, 'reapers'" approach for an imperial admiral could have at all been justified when the mando show establishes that the new republic is entirely aware of the imperial remnant. Who cares if you doubt it's thrawn personally? Morgan recruiting dark jedi to free her from prison isn't a red flag? Even semi-viable intel that she's working with an imperial remnant at all isn't worth sending a single squadron to check it out? Politically that senator would have been dragged through the mud in public for allegations of being an imperial sympathizer
>>154087633Too reasonable. It follows existing plotpoints and is a viable alternative now that we've said "it's time for the jedi to end" so disney would never
>>154088142>mando show establishes that the new republic is entirely aware of the imperial remnant.it also establishs that the New republic was actually hiding the fact that Gideon escaped from them.it's incredibly how corrupt and/or incompetent the New Republic is, I don't know if they are trying to justify Leia breaking out from them in the sequels or what, but it's actually surprising it would last the 30 or so years it did.
>>154088254I'm just pissed how it reflects on Mon Mothma, she fights hard top free the galaxy in Rebels and Andor but now she's just a retard who lets it all go to waste? Let her show more of a spine, or at least have her get temporarily taken out from the game by an assassination attempt or some shit to explain why Senator Asian Douchebag is allowed to push his bullshit unopposed
>>154086866I don't think he is an ordinary mortal force user, it seems like he has a deeper more primeval connection to nature, possibly even the embodiment of the planet itself. I don't think its possible to say for sure what he is, since we still don't really know what the Mortis gods are either. I imagine Ashoka season 2 will delve deeper into it. Maybe there is some connection to the Whills?
>>154088556Disney was determined to pretty much crush any and all victories of the previous cast - nothing else mattered except the total destruction of Star Wars as a setting. The goal was to firmly erase a cultural icon, not continue it
>>154089525Thats the funny bit, they weren't. There was never a real plan. They literally just handed JJ the reigns and told him to have fun, and leave a note on the fridge for the next guy. The entire thought process at Disney began and ended with>we make star wars = we make dosh The idea that things could possibly end up where we are today never even entered their minds.
>>154085393I feel the Blaster is not quite Tybalt's 9mm Rapier enough.
>>154079288>Beskar is literally adamantium,More like Beskar is Star Wars' equivelant to Mithril. Adamantium is indestructible. Beskar is not. We've seen that it has a boiling point. Which is why while it's ideal for taking and deflecting hits from Lightsabers, prolonged contact will cause it to superheat and lose integrity. Plus we've seen it be reforged.> it seems the Armorer is the best beskar smith who has ever lived,I'm not inclined to believe so. When she replaced Bo-katan's missing pauldron, she outright said that what she (the Armorer) could provide would not be up to standards. And I'm not inclined to believe it's an equipment issue as she's got everything she needed. >maybe she'll repair the Darksaber and it'll be really indestructable this time.Dubtful. She's a metallurgist. She shouldn't know how to repair a weapon created by the Jedi.
>>154089525Take you meds.
>>154086866It's my head canon that force gods are mortal, and that they eventually do fade into the cosmic force when they die (like the Buddhist gods do) they are just so incredibly powerful and in tune with the force they only seem omnipotent. Bendu is probably one of these types of force gods. Of course, the main issue is that being "in the middle" of the light side and dark side makes little sense. The dark side is inherently a negative feed back loop, which requires resistance to break free of. It's like saying you're in-between addiction and sobriety. There is one or the other.
>>154090056>she outright said that what she (the Armorer) could provide would not be up to standardsShe said "I can replace what is missing, but not with it's modern refinements", which probably doesn't mean worse, it just has less tech behind it.>She shouldn't know how to repair a weapon created by the Jedi.We know a mandalorian who would, and i really hope Filoni has no plans of Sabine wielding some improved darksaber in the future.
>>154082807
>>154090586>We know a mandalorian who would, and i really hope Filoni has no plans of Sabine wielding some improved darksaber in the future.I kind of doubt it he'll have her take it. It would defeat the purpose of destroying the Darksaber. Plus there's the whole bad luck ju-ju with it about it belonging to those who took it through victory. Bo-katan's still alive so if you go by that crap then the Darksaber still belongs to her.
>>154090386Yeah it's weird how modern Star Wars (rightfully) shits on the concept of Gray Jedi only to then introduce Bendu
>>154090586>and i really hope Filoni has no plans of Sabine wielding some improved darksaber in the future.I hope he does. It would be so funny. Just give into the meme and keep making her more and more exceptional for no reason..
>>154090855The Bendu's a shitter though. Kanan explicitly calls him out for being the ultimate fence-sitter and his response is to flip out and start trying to kill everybody on the planet.

What would you like to see from the return to the Old Republic?
>>154085393Alright I did some tweaking to bring the saber more in line with the blaster without obscuringthe engravings (which provide great tactical benefit). How does this look?
>>154092822It shouldn't be, but HR and Disney Sequel eras are such putrid shit that it is indeed worse. Might as well go straight Old Republic instead if you want to escape eternal PT/OT purgatory.
>>154092828It wasn't about telling the truth. She was simply upholding Mandalore's most sacred tradition: getting Mandalorians massacred.
>>154082921>Reign of the Empire through the First Order is split into 4 entire eras>But literally all of the Old Republic is considered a single eraThis will never not bother me
>>154092966Because the Old Republic is such a huge span of largely uncharted territory that it would be silly to break it up. And also Disney doesn't care about it, hence why they conjured up the gay ass High Republic shit.
>>154093011>>154092883Nobody cares about your pissiness over the high republic brother
>>154093037What, do you actually like it? Does anyone?
>>154092966When it comes down to it can you really even consider the era of the new republic a thing? I mean the empire is still around, is still being controlled by Palpatine, and has seemingly unlimited power and resources at its disposal. Literally all they did was change the name and move to the outer rim. Not to mention Disney seems REALLY fucking intent on painting the new republic as a glorified puppet government, under the near complete control of the first order for its entire existence.
>>154093050>Not to mention Disney seems REALLY fucking intent on painting the new republic as a glorified puppet government, under the near complete control of the first order for its entire existence.I really don't get why they handled it like that. Are they trying to make people not feel bad about it getting wiped out in TFA? Because really it's just doubling down on undermining the OT cast's achievements.
>>154093050As far as I'm personally concerned, it's all the same war but fluctuating who is in power and name changes.>under the near complete control of the first order>>154093084This isn't really true. They had first order financiers behind the scenes, but it's not like the first order had any influence over the government at all until they blew up the Hosnian systemThe New Republic wasn't exactly competent politically, but they weren't compromised
>>154086866>Was this dude like a lesser version of the Mortis gods? Or was he just a very powerful, but mortal force user, like Mother Talzin?I don't see why he isn't both? Meta-wise, he's an analogy/reference (apart from the lack of being very, VERY jolly) to Tom Bombadil from The Lord of The Rings.>>154090386>It's my head canon that force gods are mortalThe Anchorites of Mortis were/are mortal. Like, that was kind of the catalyst of that arc; the father was finally dying of old age. The Bendu is just one of those beings like the Anchorites who are very long-lived and very strong with the Force. Probably using the Force to extend their lifespans. Your headcanon, in that particular regard, IS canon.
>>154092541I like the idea of mandos having a leadership symbol to fight over, but hate that it was changed to a lightsaber of all things.
>>154093136There's really no good answer to the new republic. They're either so incredibly incompetent they may as well be a puppet state, or they're an actual puppet state.
Still lasted longer than the empire, faggots!
>>154093136Part of the problem is that the couple times we see characters interacting with the New Republic, they're either impotent, oddly legalistic, or compromised. Granted, our examples are mainly space cops and that weirdo ex-Imperial rehab program which was absolutely compromised, so the picture is skewed, but they've had an awful long time to show us a less skewed picture and failed to do so.I guess there's a bunch of comics and books too and I'm probably being unfair in not considering then at all, but Disney has made it very difficult to give a shit about secondary material.

>>154093255>>154093380>but they've had an awful long time to show us a less skewed picture and failed to do so.Imo it all comes down to Rangers of the New Republic getting shitcanned after Disney fired Carano.Even if it was more space cop shit I think it would have shown a more positive side of the New Republic.I also believe the theory that Zeb's role in Mando S3 and the Mando movie was supposed to be Cara Dune at first.

>>154096533>The true resolution to the political problems of the galaxy is to establish a benevolent dictatorYeah that shit is never going to fly in modern media.Nobody expects the New Republic to be flawless, but you'd expect them to at least TRY to be better and not fail to learn a single lesson from the fall of the old Republic.
>>154096581Tbf Invincible did this and people generally like the ending
>>154096473same, why did disney have to do him dirty like that?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLgkobLVzkg
>>154096599Well, he also could've helped himself out a bit by losing some weight
>>154096362I mean, the whole point of the rule of two is that both sides are basically supposed to undermine it when they feel like they can get away with it. When the apprentice thinks it's time to replace the master, then he's supposed to break the rule to train his own apprentice and overthrow the master. When the master thinks his current apprentice isn't any good anymore, then it doesn't really matter whether he destroys the old apprentice first or if he trains the new apprentice to destroy the old one. In either case, it's useful to have a pool of proto-Sith to draw on.
>>154092909You could actually do Bo Katan 3 times there, with mandalorians killing mandalorians, clones killing mandalorians and the empire killing mandalorians.
>>154096748Her fight against the Empire was her peak as a Mandalorian, at least in terms of getting Mandalorians slaughtered. She really is one of the greatest practitioners of Mandalorian culture since Mandalore himself. Almost no one has gotten more Mandalorians slaughtered than her.

>>154096599to be fair I don't think anyone expected BoBF to be bad, but it was due to the writing and directionsame with kenobi, on paper these shows should be a hit (and they were in terms of viewers) but were recieved poorlythey also don't have "filoni protection" unlike ahsokamakes no sense why we don't get S2 of BoBF or Kenobi, but we do of Ahsoka despite the show getting way less viewers and being recieved the same
>>154096922>makes no sense why we don't get S2 of BoBF or KenobTemuera Morrison is old and Ewan McGregor is expensive.
>>154096922Imo, Ahsoka was better than those shows (but still not good to be clear). Kenobi had that super fucking lame inquisitor chick eating up the screen time and loli Leia was just kinda lame and poorly handled in general. That girl ran like a toddler or a special needs student, not a normal 10 year old girl. And Book of Boba Fatt was just a total mess.Meanwhile Ahsoka was mostly just ultra mediocre. A whole lot of set up with not a lot of substance to actually chew on. Plus Rosario desperately needs a good stunt double for the fight scenes. Disney needs to fucking git gud at fight scenes in general.
>>154096785But you don't get it, it was all for the best! The Empire literally nuking Mandalore, remember they used "fusion bombs, and killing millions or maybe billions, somehow brought nature back to Mandalore, animals and plaants just started sprouting out of the ground.
>>154096922desu I kinda liked the BoBF finale, though the rest of the show was fairly poor. Couldn't finish Kenobi and haven't got around to Ahsoka yet
>>154097046And then she probably bravely led her people to get slaughtered by the First Order.
>>154097040My standards are very low so I'll normally just enjoy anything, I liked Ahsoka but even I hated Kenobi
>>154097074
>What if a Sith, but also a cutieMan, did Bioware cook with Lana.
>>154097040I think that a solid 50% of the problems with kenobi would be solved if you just replaced reva with trillayou're ripping off fallen order anyway just go the whole way and bring back the actress who played her tooobviously the show would need some plot points changed but you can easily have it resolved in a way of "oh so that explains why vader is displeased with her in fallen order despite her succeeding in her mission and bringing jedi there for him to kill"and you'd still have shit like the benny hill chase, but it'd still be a way better show
>Droid Army>Clone ArmyWhy no cyborg Army?
>>154097140>OH MY SCIENCE, IT WOULD BE BETTER IF IT HAD AN ESTABLISHED CHARACTER CAMEO FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER!Kill all Star Wars fans.
>>154097175>cameoshe'd literally be the main villain you retardand yes, it would be better, because she's actually a good character and a sexy villainess for once
>>154097186Why. Retard. Why? WHY? It's not her story. She has no connection to any of these characters whatsoever. Why should she be there? She is a good character in the story where she originated from and where she has a narrative purpose and connection to the characters in that story. That doesn't automatically translate to an unrelated story. It's just a pointless memberberry. You are a sub 50IQ dog. Kill yourself.
>>154097208Why. Retard. Why? WHY? It's not her story. She has no connection to any of these characters whatsoever. Why should she be there?ah yes why would the inquisitor be in a story about the jedi? truly a mystery
>>154097238Good story is when characters are actual characters, have narrative purpose and connection to the characters. Fallen Order Trilla works, because she is Cere's Padawan - that is the emotional core of the game. It doesn't work at all in Obi-Wan Kenobi show, where she is just a shallow memberry who hunts Jedi. No one gives a shit. This is why Inquisitors in Maul suck. Because they are non-characters. They are just obstacles. You are a subhuman. Kill yourself. Commit suicide. Perform seppuku. You are so fucking braindead. Like 95% of Star Wars fans.
>>154097284except the inquisitors in maul are infinitely better than they were in rebels, kenobi and ahsoka
>>154097321Grand Inquisitor is better than all of those. The rest are about the same. Either non-character jobbers or non-character aura farmers. Maul Inquisitors are only "good" at farming aura and giving pointless lightsaber fights that at least look decent, I guess. That's it. There is no substance there. Whatsoever. It's just visual noise.
>>154097355grand inquisitor is a joke
>>154097140Kenobi is fundamentally broken, simply replacing one actor without rewriting much of the story wouldn't do much
>>154097355The Grand inquisitor, Trilla and the 9th Sister are the only inquisitors with any personality. They tried with the 5th brother and the Seventh Sister in Rebels, but they were basically jokes.Reva was just awful, but i'm actually thankful she exists, having a black force user named Reva will probably keep Lucasfilm from making revan canonically a black woman too.The inquisitors in Maul existed solely to keep him on the run, they did show marruk has Psychometry, making him the first darksider we see with this ability, which is interestingAs for Ahsoka, Marruk was there solely so Ahsoka would have someone to kill in a lightsaber duel, since Baylan and Shin had to survive.
>>154097119Close enough, welcome back
>>154097459The Seventh Sister's personality is that she's a pedo
>>154097474Those "Fiend Starfighters" in Ahsoka sucked dick, and once again show how Filoni and his team misunderstand Luca's artistic tastes.making a Starfighter that looks just like a WWII porp plane cause "Lucas liked WWII dogfights" is just retarded.

>>154097428reva was a solid half of the problems of kenobi
>>154097081Same. Ahsoka was the worst part of her show but overall I liked it. The villains were all very good imo (besides thrawn). But kenobi was heartbreakingly bad. I don't know how you take a project as in-demand or as anticipated as that one was and fucking ruin it like they did.

>>154098835Boba Fett is such a wasted character that it's baked into his DNA, he was wasted on his own show, they never did his Clone Wars arc where he would kill Cad bane, instead, Bane lives up until after the end of the Empire, completly fucking up Fett's image of being the best Bouny Hunter during the Empire's reign.Even his marvel comicbook event was just a prelude for the Crimson Reign event.

>>154103798Ahsoka season 2 and then starfighter>>154102785pretty sure disney wants us to know that oscar isaac is the greatest pilot ever
The only thing I can say about Kenobi that I liked was it did answer the question I had from TFA:Why would Leia and Han name their son after Obiwan's fake name when Han only knew the guy for a day?Having Leia know Obiwan from before gives context to why she would want to name her kid after the guy who saved her all those years ago.

>>154082985>Every piece of Star wars happens in same handful of mostly desert shithole planets >Lore still canonically near nonexistent for all of themThe OG painted tattoine as hard frontier living and mos esley as dangerous due to being a port town. Ironically when slavery was openly legal there was probably a lower chance of just straight up death on tattoine. If your moisture farm failed you become indentured and there you go instead of dieing in your farmstead or killing for someone else's shit. Disney of course raped that tone to death with the boba Fett show and it's vespa biker gangs of wayward youth stealing space colas.
>>154106363I wish we had a SW equivalent meme of goalposting.
>>154106425>Ironically when slavery was openly legal thereWhen was it ever not openly legal there? The place belonged to Jabba. When the Empire had a presence there I sincerely doubt they had a care enough to outlaw it there.

>>154084065>Why didn't you tell us earlier >I told Obiwan on geonosis a sith controlled the Republic >...What. >He did but it's not like I believed him >WHAT Clonewars dropped the ball on actually continuing the idea dookoo was trying to pull the ole secret apprentice thing. There is arguably ventress but part of that plot is her disposability to both dookoo and sidious, she was never a real real secret apprentice. Movies only, his interrogation of Obiwan and death in episode 3 are within a half hour of each other. Add the entire 5+ years of ashoka being a good friend and it gets a bit silly he just walked into being disposed of while never trying to steal Anakin or Obiwan (or even ashoka for show a contained narrative) or any other serious apprentice from the order.
>>154106451It is really common knowledge that about half of the ticket sales go to the theaters. That + marketing costs are why movies need to make so much to break even. It isn't moving the goalposts, it's the reality of hollywood.
>>154106649>She was never my RRAL secret apprentice she was just my side hoeThe Rule of Two and “Dark Side Assassin” issue was so stupid lmfao, there should’ve just been a bunch of Acolytes, trained equally in the Dark Side ala younglings, and had infighting to determine who gets the Sith’s favor
>>154106478one of the hypocrisies of the empire in out of movie canon is outlawing slavery but also having a gulag system for political prisoners. There aren't bikini dancing girls in the mos Isley cantina and owen isn't buying farmhands from a merchant like his dad did in the prequels. But if your shit got raided for real and not by a stormtrooper death squad you'd probably just dehydrate and die in the imperial era.
>>154105425filoni movie never getting made due to mando movie flopping is a blessing in disguise I suppose
>>154106941He can always blame favreau for mando flopping so he gets one more chance before the mouse comes for him
>>154106720Sidious definitely played fast and loose with the Banite tenants of only two, partly because he was trying to cast misdirection on who the Master was in the Sith relationship, and partly because I don't think he gave a fuck. The real fuck up is having him job to Anakin and Obi Wan every other week. FFS, these guys will take care that Anakin never meets Grievous because of his one off line in RotS, but when Anakin is clearly implied to have not fought Dooku since Geonosis with the "my powers have doubled since last we met" line, and they have him run from Anakin in the many, many fights they have. To say nothing of Grievous and Obi Wan having a rivalry despite Grievous talking to Obi-Wan as if they were meeting for the first time. They couldn't have built up show characters to job for the movie characters? They did it with Trench, they can't do it with anyone else?
>>154107084>They did it with Trench, they can't do it with anyone else?nope sorry George said Grievous was a mustache twirling dumbass so its gotta be this way
Do you have an OC?
>>154107415yes her name is Ahsoka Tano
>>154107415Sort of, I have ideas for a couple. I might draw them one day
>>154107273Being the archetype of the Cunning Coward doesn't mean that you have to job and break continuity, and off loading blame to George is cope. It would have been easy to make some nothing Jedi and have Grievous kill them after isolating and exhausting them. They did it with that Mon Cala jedi, they couldn't do it a few more times: establish him as a threat without having him fight the main characters every day.
>>154107084Anakin is just so powerful because he is the Chosen One. His powers double with each meeting with Dooku. By RotS he has become 512 times more powerful than in AotC
>>154107415
>>154106720That kind of setup is what lead to the rule in the first place. It starts with a few acolytes, then the gathering of power hungry little shits inevitably spirals out of control and either implodes or alerts the jedi. Sith violating the rule was inevitable but having to keep it secretive and rare (at least until the jedi were gone) was smarter than just saying fuck it and opening a new sith academy. And that basically is what the inquisitors would've been if they'd ever gotten someone worth a damn.
>>154107415Yeah the original idea was that he's a mercenary with a contact with the New RepublicMando stole my idea so im probably going to change it up a bit and maybe do a redesign since it's been quite a few years
>>154107725I think the larger point is it's mistake for the sith to actually have a codified sith bylaw rule of 2 even if the Jedi treat sith as always coming in a pair. It leads to dumb shit like there being secret apprentice that actually aren't secret and ACKtually are pre betrayed by their master who never intended to overthrow sidious (yet) with then apprentice who isn't actually an apprentice because the rule of two says... It makes it dumb when sidious and dookoo/maul are talking about turning qui gon, Obiwan, and Anakin at different points over years that both parties actually are openly talking about betraying each other at the same time in the same conversation. It's less dumb if the master suspects the apprentice and apprentice plans to usurp the master by having n+1 sith as a narrative instead of an iron clad rule of the sith that there can only be 2 because meme secrecy/power hoarding. The actual in movie text of sidious talking about killing his master doesn't have him doing it with an apprentice either.
