Was Spongebob a good role model for America's youth?
>>154088692Wasn't he rumored to be gay?
he showed the perils of gay marriage in a nuance way
>homosexual manchild wageslave who doesn't complainye
>>154088708Canonically he's ace.
>>154088692Shut up, autist
>>154088692>Friendly guy that always manages to find the silver lining in things and has productive hobbies on the sideHonestly yeah, it's a shame most people didn't actually seem to treat him as a role model because the world would probably be a better place if they actually did
>>154088723>has a pet snail, a best friend, a house, hobbies etche doesn't really have all that much to complain about to be fair
>>154088723>>154088769The joke is that he’s both a role model and an anti-role model.
>>154088692>Owns a house with a crappy wagie jobgee how relatable
>>154088769haha what if this was a crack pipe!i'm dying lol lol lol
>>154088805He's a nepobaby and inherited that house from his grandparents
>>154088692spongebub and squidard are cute together.
>>154088692Did any kids unconsciously adopt his character traits? They watched the shit out of him
>>154088857The pineapple literally fell from the surface world.
>>154088708Spongebob is not gay.
>>154088978Spngebob still needs to pay property taxes to Bikini Bottom/King Neptune though regardless of where the house itself came from
>>154088692Early seasons SpongeBob wasn’t such a bad character to emulate. Middle seasons SpongeBob was an obnoxious crybaby though. Unfortunately I was more exposed to middle seasons SpongeBob as a kid and as a result I adopted some, let’s just say less than desirable traits from him
>>154088692I dunno but my parents hated Patrick for being an idiot.
>>154089109SpongeBob isn't gay, but that wedding was fake AND gay.
>>154088692>Taught kids important lessons like how to tie your shoes and that killing yourself for pussy was badClose enough
>>154092477Unironically, that song never taught me how to tie my shoes. It felt like a bunch of rhyming nonsense.
>>154092495It was a bunch of bullshit and I learned how to do it later because I would ask the yard duty chick with the big tits to help me
>>154092524Damn, you're as lucky as the kid who fakes drowning to kiss a hot lifeguard.
>>154088692Hell no. Always hated this shitty annoying character because he's a manchild. And since the moral of the first Spongebob Movie is to celebrate being an annoying infantile manchild and we're seeing the results with examples like Disney Adults and such? Its safe to say that Spongebob is shit. The only good thing is that in recent times lots of infantile adults are realizing that acting like Spongebob doesn't lead to a fun life. It leads to stress and hardship in certain circles of society as such Spongebob is finally losing some of his popularity. Now if only illumination's The Minions would also start to shrivel up and die already because those retarded characters are responsible for killing brain cells. The glorification of being infantile and stupid needs to fucking die for it has worsened the human condition. And the elites obviously love having a stupid and immature population.
>>154092969>to celebrate being an annoying infantile manchildNo? The point was to become a man, and that's exactly what he became.
>>154092998[samefag] THOUGH, if you told me him becoming a "bug guy" was cringe, then yeah, I'd believe you.
>>154088692he's an effeminate man was a low wage job and a cat instead of wife and kids. Pretty spot on for thr generation that grew up watching him. That being said he's a good friend and seems to have a lot of interest even if they are lame. He does at least atempt to stay in shape and while he is incredibly weak he does at least try.
>>154092969>the moral of the first Spongebob Movie is to celebrate being an annoying infantile manchilIt was a movie aimed at kids, the moral wasn't "it's okay to be a manchild" because men weren't the target audience for that shit lmao. It was meant to be entertaining for kids and for them to enjoy themselves, reading past that is falling into the "deep Cartoon is actually for adults!!!" type bullshit that plagues /co/ spheres these days
>>154092998No? Spongebob literally goes on a speech explaining that it's good to be a kid before rocking out the finale's song which he uses to rescue everyone. But that's the thing Spongebob is a working adult so he should not be saying that at all. And as far as the living audience goes they're not going to stay youthful forever you have to grow up and seeing how things are in actuality with all these modern maladjusted adults I say media like Spongebob has done its harm.In that regard its better to show kids shows like Regular Show where the characters are learning how to manage young adulthood and do get their bearings and become functional adults with families of their own eventually during the finale. That's more reasonable and better for audiences because you will age and grow up whether you like it or not. So better learn how to deal with aging and responsibilities.
>>154093332You're missing the point. It's about accepting yourself and how you are and not being pressured by societies expectations, that is the ultimate sign of maturity and growing up. The movie was literally made by adults whose entire job is to make silly cartoons. They understand this. You have autism so you probably struggle with this
