The real versions of them are already out and about, living their lives, and what they actually are is just perfect copies of their brain scans. All their experiences felt real to them but wasn't because they themself aren't real. They're just duplicates of the real versions of them.The ending we got is still better than what I thought was gonna happen because even though it's very depressing to discover that none of them are real, just files on a computer created from a brain scan, at least it explained a lot. Like why they couldn't take their headset off or why they couldn't remember their names or what is abstraction and what does it mean to abstract...It was a good movie after all, even if the ending was depressing and wasn't what I expected. I still liked it. I might go back and rewatch the show now that I know the plot twist.What did you anons think of the endings plot twist?
