They're filming a fight scene between Superman and warsuit Lex Luthor, which reportedly comes after Brainiac broadcasts an ultimatum saying, "Attention, citizens of Metropolis. I am your overlord. If you do not hand over Lex Luthor, I will blow up the city," and giving them a 12 hours deadline.
Luthor pulls a sci-fi gun and blasts Superman.
Leaving Superman with a charred hole in his suit.
Luthor's suit has an A.R.G.U.S. logo and it's probably stolen from them.
Superman is also holding a sci-fi thingamajig he's presumably using against Luthor.
Superman eventually gains the upper hand and begins beating Luthor hard as people crowd around them and begin cheering and egging him on to kill Luthor. Their bloodlust snaps Superman back to his senses and he stops pummeling Luthor, presumably to take him in.
