Still a bit too CalArts-y and generic for my tastes but that’s just me being an asshole. Otherwise this is the only one at all that actually tries to be cool and usually interesting, which I give it major props for. I probably wouldn’t watch it if it were a show but I would certainly not be bothered if it was. I can both see the vision of the creators and where CN forced it to be lamer.

If I could add some changes. >>154115071desu, when Cartoon Cartoons finishes releasing all the shorts that are pending to show to the public, coming from the 2021 announced batch and some unreleased/unnanounced ones like the OP one as an example, i am pretty sure that, if they do a vote for the public to choose which shorts should be greenlit, they would have to choose a maximum of 5 pilots, as CN (or whatever network would come after the incoming merger), is dire of original content as it has been plagued with TTGO slop for years. It might not happen and most if not all of them would stay as shorts/pilots with no chance of greenlit, but is better to imagine in an hypothetical chance this gets to happen.

I liked it well enough, was nice having an action show among them. The animation style was pretty nice too, strong poses and did a good job of hiding the limited animation. Characters were fine but like another anon said that I'm also tired of plucky go getter and wet blanket combo. It makes sense as a pairing but I just didn't care for it.
