If you got transported to cool world would you break the rule about fucking a doodle?
>>
>>154115486
I would genuinely be okay with just hotdogging her ass cheeks, that doesn’t count so I’d be safe.
>>
Only two of them are actually fuckable, one of them is already spoken for (and even if I wanted to be a homewrecker I can't compete with fucking Brad Pitt) and the other is a manipulative narcissistic sociopath, so no.
>>
Could I just draw my own or are they created by some natural process?

You can draw your own. Iirc that's how it worked?

What if she thinks of you as a dad?
>>
>>
>>154115486
The rule and the whole concept about it was retarded. I wish they scrapped the whole storyline about that other guy and just focused on Brad Pitt being a cop and Holli endangering the toon world by either trying to escape it through some dimension-rendering way or escaping it and wreaking havoc in the real world using toon powers, for example; her trying to seduce Pitt's character on either route. She could have lost by being trapped in an even goofier and toony dimension or, honestly, it wouldn't even be bad if she "won" and became a human, but sans toon powers. Meanwhile Brad would turn into a toon at some point by either swapping essences with her or being killed in the line of duty.

Never saw Cool World, don't understand the rule or it's consequences.
That said, yes.

She's [however long ago you drew her] years old you creep!
>>
>>154116354
Ralph Bakshi should remake Cool World as a segment for Love Death + Robots using his original outline.
>>
>>154119097
The main rule: Noids (humans) do not have sex with Doodles (cartoons).

While Roger Rabbit focused on the segregation of toons & real people, Cool World focused on the miscegenation of toons & real people. So it's safe to assume both movies take place in the same universe.
>>
>>154119097
the toon becomes a human seemingly for a time. but the transformation is unstable and they'll revert back into a toon.
>>
>>154119531
His original outline was even worse than what we got.

>>154119752
>taking that seriously
Or rather, that comparison makes no sense because it's a difference within the toons themselves. Some are drawn criminally inclined while others are just plain nice. If anything, their society is one where prejudice is the correct thing to do 99% of the time. It's more of a prejudice-affirming story in that sense. So the only way someone would want to make that parallel from the start is if they were racist and were using the good toon and bad toon comparison as the mirror of society rather than the toons and humans one.
>>
>>154115486
...yeah...
>>
>>154119752
They can't take place in the same universe because. Cool world was a parallel dimension unlike in Rodger rabbit where it was just downtown somewhere

>>

Toon Town was not originally a world of cartoons but comic strip characters since the source material was a novel. The detective originally interacted with comic strip characters like Calvin and Hobbes, Garfield, Snoopy, etc

>>

>>
>>154115486
There's 2 doodles in the entire Cool World that are remotely acceptable and one is insane while the other is taken.
>>
>>154124110
Are you telling me you wouldnt slam that wierd old chick doodle?
>>
>>154120028
It doesn't make a lick of sense why that's the case. The whole plot is a mess and Bakshi wasn't interested in fixing it, so it just became a plot contrivance that some humans (we only ever see 2) can enter and leave Cool World when their emotions are heightened enough. There's only a single toon that escaped and didn't need to go back for 50 years and that's never explained. Never explained why toons become human or why they start turning into different toons in the real world or why humans who fuck toons also start turning into toons when they return to the real world either.

Whole movie is retarded and I wholly believe that is largely Bakshi's fault and that at the time of making this movie, he's well and truly lost his touch.
>>
>>154122936
Jack thought he created Cool World and Holli and a bunch of the other characters he meets, but it's very loosely suggested that he was just having visions of the real Cool World, which is only partially like his comics. Since Brad Pitt ends up in there 50 years before Jack, it's pretty obvious that Cool World has just kind of always existed.
>>
>>154124181
But it does allow for headcanon reasoning. Like fantasy and reality not being allowed to mix? Kinda like that chris chan reality merge thing.
>>
>>154124867
It requires headcanoning or rewriting the movie, because the script was a big pile of shit.

Like we can say the Reality Spike created a temporary hole between the two worlds and that by performing an act of extremely heightened emotional connection, sex being the obvious choice, it polarizes a toon with real world energies. As for why it doesn't stick... uhh... the connection between those two worlds is inherently unstable and the effect isn't permanent. The two worlds were never meant to mix or mingle.
>>
>>154124933
Reality spike being on the top of Vegas because Vegas is the height of hedonism. Lol
>>
>>154124962
They could have done something with that, huh? Like Holli gets to the real world and she's shocked that it's not that different from Cool World. Or maybe it had to be placed in Vegas because it's a place of such intense emotional highs and lows, which makes it more hospitable for toons.
>>
>>154115486
It's not exactly a doodle anymore if you could go into it.

Cool World is from '92 faggot
>>
>>154125025
They couldve done a lot more. I want a sequel
>>
>>154125332
A sequel would be pointless. I don't need to see any of those characters again or find out where their stories went after the movie ended.

A completely new movie about a real person being dropped into a toon world might work though. Worked for Space Jam, in fact. Make it a little deeper and have it be that both worlds are intrinsically linked. Real world impacts toon world and vice versa. Toons and Humans being two extremes on the same scale.

You could even have a district in Toon World where all the worst reflections of human vice and sin are reflected in a style reminiscent of Cool World.
>>
>>154125403
Cool World is a metaphor for insanity.
>Frank and Jack both entered Cool World after moments when they snapped (the former when his mother died right after he came home from the war, the latter when he killed his wife's lover)
>Frank implies that people can enter Cool World in their dreams, which is when everyone's minds break away from reality
>one of the characters outright says "You've lost it man, that's why you're here!"
>>
>>154115486
No, I would not break such rule. Instead I will find a way to TF into a doodle. Which may or may not be an animal, just so you know.

>>154115664
Why are bathrobes so EROTIC?
>>
>>154125609
The problem is that Bakshi wanted Cool World to be too many things at once. It's a parallel dimension that cartoonists tap into for inspiration, but it's also spiritual purgatory where everyone is free to do whatever they want all the time, but no one can feel anything, but it's also a symbolic representation of the stress and cacophonous chaos of modern city life, but it's also a place where people run away from the real world to escape grief and trauma, and on top of all of that, it's also a middle finger from Bakshi to Roger Rabbit, for not making toons edgy and nasty.
>>
>>154115486
spankable
>>
I will fuck a toon but cool world seems an horrible place to live, it's like an adult version of wackyland from the tiny toons
>>
>>154129897
Yeah, I don't really see how any human could stand being there for more than a few minutes, even if they do drop into the middle of a Kim Bassinger rotoscoped dance sequence.

I'm sure a few of them are tolerable, at times, but it's not like Toon Town where everyone is operating on light hearted slapstick humor. Everyone in Cool World is violent or dumb or both.
>>
>>154134153
Considering their dimension practically only has toons in it, who are impervious to long-term physical harm from traditional violence, it makes sense it's part of their culture. Same for being dumb: they don't need intelligence to survive.
>>
>>
>>
>>154132565
Well, that's why you're not supposed to have sex with them.
>>
>>154135871
>>154135893
Kim was an average actress, but an amazing inspiration for a cartoon character.
>>
>>154132572
Wasn't originally supposed to be that when Holly was Morphin back to a toon while in Texas, she was supposed to be turning into a freaky abomination but was considered to freaky so the studio ordered to trace all over it so that's why she turned into some weird silly female clown rotoscope?
>>
>>154132698
bnuuy
>>
>>154137326
Probably not. That version of the movie was never shot in any way because the script was swapped out day 1 and Bakshi was ready to beat the producer to death over it. So no part of the live action segments, which the studio had full control over (to protect the stars, mostly) had even a sliver of Bakshi's original murderous half-toon daughter idea.

Although, Bakshi supposedly retained total control over the animation for the entire movie and just told his animators to make whatever the fuck they wanted, so there's a good chance he had one of the rotoscopers just make those scenes where Jack and Holli start turning into random toons without any script or story information.
>>
>>154116004
I'd fuck her harder
>>
>>154139454
Don't fuck your toon daughter
>>
>>154116354
The original idea was much better: The problem being that any offspring becomes a nigh-invincible humanoid who's functionally a sociopath in the human world they can cross into since their toon brain doesn't really hesitate to immediately resort to over the top violence. Don't create monsters just cause you were horny!
>>
>>154140047
>The original idea was much better
I don't think it would have been. Probably would have sucked in different ways because Bakshi was past his prime and losing his touch. He still had say over the animated Cool World segments and what did he do? A bunch of random bullshit, hastily layered on every scene, totally incapable of directing the actors to act, react, or interact with the animated portion in any remotely passable way.
>>
>>154140244
Not to be that kinda asshole, but I think he did that shit intentionally to fuck with the studio that fucked with him.

Not sure if that makes it better though.
>>
>>154132533
What is this expression meant to convey?
>>
>>154140047
And that premise sounds like something out of a Z-grade horror movie that would have 5 minutes of animation total or maybe a 20 minute episode of an animated kids horror show if you only imply the sex.
>>
>>154132572
It'd get tiring after about 7-8 minutes.
>>
>>154115486
I'd consider it at least!
>>
>>154116004
That'd probably be a Bakshi story.
>My daddy wasn't the best artist but when he discovered toon world he went crazy, drawing every day, every night. It wasn't until he drew me that he stopped, I knew life for all but a minute before he went to town on me
>>
>>154141142
Yeah, Bakshi was verifiably pissed and willing to torch the entire production, as long as he didn't break contract. He got the last laugh because the movie lost a ton of money and still got paid, but I don't know if there was a truly good movie possible if he got his way.

Bakshi's other movies are fascinating pieces of animation history, but he's always been an experimental indie underground auteur kinda guy at heart. Movies like Hey Good Lookin and Fritz the Cat and Heavy Traffic are more stream of consciousness loose concepts turned into movies, more than any kind of typical narrative. Now imagine that kind of approach to storytelling, but it's supposed to be a Frankenstein-esque horror story about a half-cartoon abomination, and also Brad Pitt and Drew Barrymore are there. I don't see it working.
>>
>>154115486
I never watched that movie.
Is it stated that you can't fuck one? Or is it more an unspoken rule?
>>
>>154146255
Openly stated. If you fuck a Doodle, they become a normal human (Noid), but if a Doodle kills the Noid, they turn back to a Doodle anyway, so the whole plot doesn't really make much sense.
>>
>>154135893
jesus, this looks like something out of Jab Comix.
>>
>>154125403
>A sequel would be pointless. I don't need to see any of those characters again or find out where their stories went after the movie ended.

It doesn't need to re-use the characters, or re-use them as-is. Brad Pitt turns into a toon in the end so he could reprise his role or even just make an unvoiced cameo as a well known competent policeman. What a sequel could do is just use the setting which looks great as fuck.

For example have a random nerd loser enter the Toon World specifically because he wants to fuck all the toons. He could, I dunno, enter and leave at will, so they have to come up with some creative way to catch him or even have a few toons go into the real world.

>>
>>154146803
So is it like a STD?
Can you use a condom?
>>
>>154149313
That's a good question actually. But probably without answer as this lore is hastily-adapted nonsense. If we take the original script's plot point of conception into account, it's probably only the type of sex which might result in offspring. So Brad was probably a dumbass for not having all the oral and anal he wanted.
>>
>>154147934
>What a sequel could do is just use the setting which looks great as fuck.
the backgrounds LOOK great, but the setting itself is nonsense garbage. A legally distinct story about a human landing in a toon dimension would work just fine without needing the attachment to an infamous flop piece of shit embarrassment.
>>
>>154149313
the sex is just symbolic. any connection between noid and doodle would break the rule
>>
One more thing nobody mentioned yet, the movie had really damn good music.

>>154149888
>the setting itself is nonsense garbage
That's exactly why it looks good. It's like an adult rated Tex Avery short on acid.

>>154149652
>>154149313
Brad entered the Cool World in like 1940 or something, condoms as we know them may not have been invented yet (yes, I know that they have been making condoms ever since antiquity, but they were things like goat rectums and such). Who knows what kind of devilish thing the Cool World had as condoms anyway, chances are that it would be alive and the girl wouldn't fuck her because she'd be fucking the condom-toon instead.
Also being from the 1940s means he was probably a well raised Christian boy who'd never do oral/anal or use a condom anyway because every sperm is sacred.

Which incidentally would explain why he's such a stuck up dick in the movie. Imagine being eternally young, in your 20s forever, and then getting blueballed for 50 fucking years. Then this rando dude enters just to fuck the blonde sex goddess.
>>
>>154148492
