Well, when I left the theater after my first viewing, I saw a bunch of groups of people discussing the finale, while I was alone. That gave me a weird feeling, but at the time I just shared my thoughts online and suppressed that feeling. On my second watch though, some part of me realized that it wasn't just the isolation I felt after the first viewing, it's also the strong bond the characters have, how Pomni risked everything just to reach out to Jax one last time. I realized I don't really have anyone like that, someone who would do that for me, someone who'd so much as realize if I went through a private crisis, because whar few connections I do have are all distant. That realization, that I've been living like this for years, what the shape of the hole in my life that I've been vaguely feeling for a long time is... It's a lot to grapple with all of a sudden, and all because of this fuckass tragic purple rabbit.
