I have seen some reaction videos of some watching the Raimi movies and they had no idea about Uncle Ben and the origin that the MCU skipped because "everyone knows it."
They stopped making shows that are appropriate for kids but being smart enough for adults. Now they only do very little kids stuff and adult shows that are just overtly dirty and violent just because.
