It actually had the Empire going around and bringing peace, order and development to places like the Outer Rim. Why don't they make a game like Empire at War today? That formula was sick. At this point canon has more than enough of ships, planets, factions and characters they can use. They can do the Clone Wars, they can Empire vs Rebels, or they can even skip forward and use the game to flesh out a brand new era somewhere later down on the timeline.
