I really liked her. She felt like a real friend to Adam, sometimes a little pity and a bit of gentle ribbing, but it always felt like it came from a place of genuine concern. I just came back from this, I quite enjoyed it. I wish it took itself (for what it is, something very silly) more seriously, if that makes sense. It is naturally silly and funny, and that tone is automatically there if you just take it seriously, it doesn't need the awkward and nervous self awareness. But it really wasn't that bad, it's just that it held it back from being the kind of movie you'd ever watch again, it was just a popcorn movie as is, but quite a good one. I like the good and basic message of what power should be used for and when. The bit at the very end where they're all laughing over a lame joke like the end of an episode with their hands on their hips, and just letting it be inherently silly without having to be self aware about it (except for a tiny moment of Cringer looking at the camera), I wish the whole movie had been more like that. I do think it's worth watching for a day out at the cinema and some fun, I just felt like it could have been more.
