Absolute as usual
>by units

>These are unit and dollar sales rankings based on sales tracked at point-of-sale by the ComicHub and Comic Shop Assistant POS systems at stores selling American comics around the world. During the period for which these reports were generated, there were over 225 stores using the two systems. As this is a small, non-random sample of over 3,000 stores selling American comics worldwide, these rankings may not be typical for all stores but do represent a variety of locations and store emphases.

>This data was collected based on a five-week month, from May 3 – May 30, 2026. These sales rankings represent sales to consumers by comic stores during the period.

>ComicHub, used by around 125 stores, is a retail management and ecommerce platform built specifically for comic book and pop culture stores, combining point-of-sale, inventory management, subscriptions, customer engagement, and online sales into a single integrated system. The platform helps retailers expand their online presence and customer reach while providing industry-focused tools for preorders, back issues, pull lists, and publisher data management.

>Comic Shop Assistant, used by over 100 stores, is a web-based point of sale system created to help comic stores track their subscribers, place better orders, and hopefully work a little less hard while doing it. From multiple-distributor ordering to customer subscription management, Comic Shop Assistant built to solve the difficulties specific to the comic book industry.

PSA: Prana has their own direct market sales data which apparently is sourced from 600 stores as opposed to icv2's 200. Here's last months top 50

Cool, the more data the merrier.

How is dark horse so washed. I feel like if they actually tried they could be part of ‘the big 3’

Too inconsistent.

>Daredevil still that high
That is legitimately surprising, I thought it was gonna sink like a stone after the initial blind bags
>>
>>154163211
Unironically a huge chunk of their sales come from having the Berserk license at this point.
>>
>>154164430
DC trounce Marvel in trade collections, so them being above Marvel in monthly comic sales means they're absolutely reaming them in every metric, Marvel puts out more books too so they're spending more to make less.
>>
>>154164646
It's not a bad book, and they just had the new season of the show, there is a lot going for it imo.

The new Alias book didn't even make the list though, complete flop
>>
One last bump, it always bums me out a little that these threads die on the vine, I find the topic interesting, but I can't really fault anyone for not being interested it's a little dry and most of the anons on here don't buy comic books, hell most don't even read them they're cartoon fans.
>>
>>154166557
Lots of good comic threads die. The bulk of /co/ seem to be cartoon fans, particularly the new age stuff like hazbin hotel
>>
>>154166678
I hate to harp on it, but I really wish there was a separate board for both comics and cartoons, I'd take a slower comic board any day over the endless Glitch threads.
>>
>>154166701
Agreed. I hope Absolute Batman’s success translates to a larger comic community down the line. DC’s compact comics line is also genius. 10 bucks for a whole book instead of the usual 30. Even floppies can rack up a big bill. They should really capitalize on this with an absolute Batman cartoon, like they do in Japan
>>
>>154162804
>Daredevil that high
Is whatever this new run of his good or is this more first issue hype?
>>
>>154166839
Bit of both, new run is pretty servicable.

>Godzilla vs Texas

Really?
>>
>>154166944
They keep making endless Godzilla books someone must be buying them.
>>

Get on the zilla train chump. (I’ve never read a single one)
>>
>>154166964

Yeah, they've been great. Monsterpiece Theater has been amazing.

But these Godzilla vs (Insert City/State Here) books have more of a niche appeal.
>>
>>154166976
Two of the Marvel Vs Godzilla issues were good (the Hulk and Thor ones,) the rest were absolute dogshit, including the limited series where the whole Marvel universe was involved.

Godzilla seems pretty one note to me, unless they go the cosmic horror route like in shin Godzilla, where he continuously evolves until eventually he becomes some sort of Lovecraftian god. I would read the hell out of a skull island comic tho. You could have so much fun exploring all the different fauna, and ancient civilizations
>>
>>154167116
They've done that. A couple times.

>Marvel getting
When a Ben10 book is outselling the books from main 'true belieber' characters like the first family, the x-dudes/dudetees and the Iron Manlet, Disney really should put a lot of these people out to pasture and stop wasting water and paper.

They could be wasting those resources on Goofy, Donald and Daisy.
>>
>>154170846
Ben10 was always going to sell well though, it's a legacy brand with nothing else coming out for it, and it's a reboot based on the original show. The book is kind of shit, though, so we'll see how long that lasts.

I can explain why it's bad just through this page alone.
>Steve Trevor looks like a butch lesbian
>aggravating dialogue "She's X. She's made herself an X."
>explaining to the audience what a Medusa is as if they were children because apparently they don't teach Greek mythology in public schools anymore

Grim. Can't even capitalize on that by spreading much beyond the comics.

Yeah Absolute Wonder Woman is easily the best Absolute book. It's really good, it won best new ongoing last year at the Eisner awards

Yeah, but buying licensed shit is retardation beyond even capefaggotry.
