I watched it in theaters (comfy recliner chairs too) and thought it was absolute cinema. The intro with fishZach was hilarious. The series is a genuine masterpiece and I'm glad Gooseworx wrapped it up instead of milking it until it became shit.
The finale made me suicidal. I don't want to live in this world anymore.

There's a lot of bitching about how Jax's arc was bitched but even as a parallel arc to Jax's, Caine's was equally if not worse botched. Jax as least got 60% of the goddamn movie, Caine got like 10 minutes where his entire character was bullshitted away.

>>154163253I marathoned it yesterday because a friend wanted to watch the finale in the cinema. I thought it was alright, but it had too much melodrama trauma dumping and not enough wacky hijinks. I also felt that gangle and zooble became gay for each other way too quickly, the jax arc was just confusing to me until I read the author was a tranny, and there was no logical explanation for why abstractions were irreversible. Oh, and I hated that stupid fish at the beginning of the movie.
>>154163253A heavily flawed ending that has some good ideas and parts but ultimately feels unfinished and unsatisfying. Hopefully there'll be something like an epilogue or a continuation that helps to mitigate the problems but I won't hold my breath.
