How did pre-Crisis Earth One survive the Crisis on the Infinite Earths?
>>154170569Convergence I think?Alternatively, the Multiverse fixed itself.
>>154170596>Convergence I think? Not sure, if even the writers know that
>>154170569it didn't, morrison lied to you
>>154171776>it didn't, morrison lied to youDon't you mean Geoff Johns?
>>154171776It's from Doomsday Clock #12 written by Geoff Johns
>>154170596>Alternatively, the Multiverse fixed itself. What makes you think that?
>>154172073>>154172632who gives a shit, it's DC
>>154174417this
>>154170569>what if hypertime but Watchmen?bravo johns
>>154174417>>154175472You give a shit because you're upset at being wrong again enough to change your phone IP to do a "this" post to support yourself
>>154170569it happened in that story...which actually doesn't tell how exactly it happened because it somehow happens in the backgroundit's like Johns ran out of time and rushed a "happy ending" in the final issueman, remember when DC had two story/events happening at the same time to fix the N52/Rebirth eras/continuities and called it a day? Good time
>>154170569It didn't it was merged with the surviving Earths 2, 4, S and X during Crisis.
>>154172632This Manhattan looks like he has space AIDS.
>>154170569IIRC Time Trapper created a pocket universe so the LoSh and Superboy could still exist, but then they nuked it anyway
>>154175697>It didn't it was merged with the surviving Earths 2, 4, S and X during Crisis.I think DC undid that. But how do you even do that without screwing up post-Crisis continuity?
>>154170569They're just trying to say that a copy of everybody's favorite version of the DCU is still floating somewhere out there in the multiverse. And I'm OK with that.
>>154170569Hypertime + Convergence + METAL + Generations Shattered/Forged
>>154178066Goddammit.
>>154173883The Multiverse just does that sometimes.
>>154172632This is so bad.
where was superboy prime during the doomsday clock
>>154175697No, they undid it with one of the various Metal events. The entire multiverse is back including the pre-Crisis DCU and maybe pre-Flashpoint DCU too. Just DC has no interest in actually doing anything with them which sucks. I'd be fine with having some books set in the pre-Flashpoint DCU and Earth-1 so I can have things more familiar to what I actually want to read and not Slopsolute or the current shitty DCU.>>154176816It got changed so literally everything is back and there's now an omniverse that includes every multiverse so the current DCU, pre-Flashpoint DCU, pre-Crisis DCU, and all of that. They've keep doing Crisis events to reestablish this for some reason.
>>154181763Great point.
>>154181763>where was superboy prime during the doomsday clockNo idea.
>>154170569>>154170569i thought it didn't? and only superman/prime/lois/lex escaped to a pocket/in between space? then that kicks off infinite crisis?
>>154185942>i thought it didn't? and only superman/prime/lois/lex escaped to a pocket/in between space? then that kicks off infinite crisis?I was wondering how DC brought back pre-Crisis multiverse without destroying the post-Crisis continuity.
