Am I the only one who gets genuinely attached to and fantasizes about anime/cartoon characters?Not just talking about waifu stuff or wanting to bang them. I also mean actual affection. Some characters make me feel comforted just by seeing them, and I sometimes catch myself wishing they were real people.What's weird is that I almost never feel this way about characters from live-action shows. Even great live-action characters still feel like actors playing a part, while anime/cartoon characters feel like their own separate beings.What causes this? Why do animated characters feel more like actual fictional people than live-action characters?

I'd probably annoy her but I have genuine love for Claire, so I wouldn't bug her every day. Instead I'd casually ask her for ingredients maybe once a week and then ask if there's any way to repay her. So when she sends me on a trip into some dangerous dark forest to restock what I've taken I would ask her to rest easy at home. I'd get back after some time and she'd be finishing up some rancid cursed brew and I would just smile and ask for a cup.
