The art direction was immaculate (I popped off seeing Snake Mountain, it looked incredible). The action was really well shot and choreographed, never confusing to look at. I thought they made Trap Jaw into one of the coolest antagonists ever, like wow. He was so damn menacing. It's so weird to say this but it's kind of incredible how much more seriously I could take the villains of Masters of the Universe as threats compared to the bad guys in the Mandolorian. I really liked the Sorceress' voice, she was underutilized and I think they could have used her in more places.The bad: An over-reliance on awkward humor in some places. Characters and Theming are weak. Adam is a more empathetic wielder of Cosmic Power than previous characters, but that empathy is never paid off in the narrative itself. I think Duncan/Man-At-Arms has a good character arc that ties into Adam's, but it just needed to be developed a bit more. Teela doesn't have a character arc, and I feel like that stinks because there was a very easy one to do about learning to trust in other people again. If they had cut some of the awkward humor scenes and dedicated more to character development, I think this could have been a Great movie. As it stands, it's merely entertaining.
