What are some good medieval /co/ anons? I'm mainly looking for more ""historical"" takes but i'm also open to more grounded/not d&d fantastical settings like Battle Brothers or Mout and Blade (or even Lotr type, just no pink homo orcs)
>>154186871This is a more crass take
>>154186871I assume it's because drawing plate armor is hard but a lot of these seem to be set around the "high medieval" era, also this one seems to only have 1 book with english translation.
>>154186871I kind of dislike how they artist literally just made Geoffrey fucking Conan in chainmail, they could have at least made his hair just bit shorter but still long or copied the bowlcut or norman haircut. Just because you're someone's descendant/reincarnation or whatever doesn't mean you have to completely look like them. Even if it says he looks sort of like Conan you could at least put some variation.
>>154186871This probably counts
>>154186871Aye
>>154186871Even though Mount and Blade Bannerlord, barely ever truly goes through with it artstyle wise, the setting is supposed to have a "Dark Ages" feel to it (and honestly yeah it does) so Heirs Of Rome counts.
