New season next month. Bobby ends up meeting a guy (voiced by Joshua Tomar) who is seriously in to cooking, but also laughs at all of Bobby's jokes. He ends up kissing Bobby near the end of the season, which Connie walks in on in a scene that parallels when Bobby walked in on her and Joseph kissing in the episode "I Don't Want to Wait..."

That’s probably partly because today’s shows can’t have the enormous writing staffs who punched up every joke even on a relatively low-key show like KotH.But I think it’s also partly that many of the broadest comedy characters are either downplayed, absent or in the case of Kahn, recast with someone not funny (and not Laotian, neither).

Everyone thought that Bobby was kinda fruity in the first place, this is just growing off of that.And I don't see him being in a lasting relationship with anyone, he always self-destructs somehow so this gay romance is doomed from the start.
