>Disney had the perfect formula to hook zoomers and alphies into Star Wars>Uses it to make glorified commercials instead Disney fumbling Star Wars this hard on all levels should be studied thoroughly.
>>154190961We could have had twink Luke art it would have been perfect.
>>154191007we were robbed
>>154190961They thought there was more money in live action, and for that, you need young actors you could get a good ten years out of.
>>154190961Cartoons don't make money. Only live action & 3D animation.
>>154190961This was a great style, but we don't need the movies re-told
>>154191007I still remember the fanart of that version of Luke. I remember the porn.>>154191340Sadly this. Disney knows where the money is. If 2D animation could compete with 3D and live action then they would have more of it done.
>>154192430>Disney knows where the money is. Doesn't seem like it
The question is, is it even possible to attract guys for any new Disney content? Star Wars is dead because they killed it, Marvel still works some but is past its prime, Tron and Indiana bombed, and everything else is not for them.Trying to test the waters for Atlantis which was a bomb and entirely dead IP for 25 years just because they are out of other guy-centric content is pretty damning
>>154192639Avatar is still fairly popular. But for some reason, people just watch the movie and don't buy merch. Avatar 3 was kind of a disappointment really. There are a lot of guys who buy Lorcana cards that I see at the comic store.Too many kids are addicted to TikTok slop. They don't want to spend their time watching a 2 hours movie or reading a 200 page Star Wars novel. Really, it kind of feels like Disney ran out of fairy tales to make movies from. And then ran out of animated movies to make remakes of.
